      ID WATCHDOG CLOSED MY SPOUSES ACCOUNT: My ********************** account holder wife (which i am also on the account with her) passed away. As such i was required to close out her credit accounts. Her monthly ****************** was billing her AMEX. I called ID Watchdog advised them to allow my wife had passed away as such i was required to shut down her **** account. I requested that i either have access to her account to change her AMEX to my AMEX through her estate settlement. Agent told me could do that with a pdf email certified death certificate which i pdf'd to them through a secure web site. I called back the next day and was told the certified death certificate not good enough i would was now required to provide a power of attorney. OUTRAGIOUS!!!! to MAKE/receive a PAYMENT, A PAYMENT to keep an account active through probate A PAYMENT! A power of attorney PAYMENT to keep an active REFUSING a PAYMENT!!!! absolutely outrageous!
