      I worked as CTO at CoVoice, handling all core technical responsibilitiesfrom infrastructure fixes to product development and outsourced team coordination. Despite the scope of my role, I was paid far below industry standard, under an agreement that promised equity and revenue share as future incentives.Looking back, its clear this setup was intentionally structured to minimize costs while maximizing output. The equity offer had a one-year cliff, meaning none of it vested, and the revenue share lacked transparency. There was never a good-faith intention to honor the full scope of what was promisedI was used to fill gaps, then abruptly let go just before those commitments would kick ****** ***** **** made strategic decisions based on anecdotal input, often ignoring sound advice about validating ideas before development. I voiced concerns over ethical issueslike his plan to quietly offload the outsourced teams work to me without informing themand shortly after, I was terminated via Slack after business hours, with no warning or proper offboarding.This experience felt calculated and exploitative. I asked for a short testimonial to verify my worksomething basic after months of serviceand that too was declined, despite earlier praise. I strongly caution others considering working with CoVoice or CEO ***** ****. In my experience, the company lacks the professionalism, transparency, and integrity needed to build a trustworthy team.
