    Date of contract: 07/25/2024 I signed a contract to purchase and install a walk-in tub for $21,867. I understood I was purchasing a ******* product. Two weeks later, I found out the manufacturer was Boca, NOT Jacuzzi. I researched the Boca product and I don't want it.The seller, Colorado Living LLC, claims that I have to pay a 30 percent cancellation fee to cancel the order. I claim that I was mislead by a deceptive salesman.

    This complaint is baseless, if the customer would have communicated that he just wanted out of the contract we would have probably worked with him.  Intimidated tactics trying to leverage the BBB, AG, etc. when there was no wrongdoing we give no merit. We respectfully request mediation/arbitration on this one.

    I am rejecting this response because:  I initially asked Tim Prince to cancel my contract, and he said I would have to pay a 30% cancellation fee (approximately $6,600). 

    I then left him a voice message saying that I would be willing to compensate him, $500, for his time with me here at our house.  Never heard back.

    Thank you for notifying us of this complaint, we have been in contact with Mr. Clopper and have came to a resolution.  We will be returning his deposit on the discretion of admittance by Mr. Clopper that he negligently signed and complete a contract with another company while in contract with Colorado Living.  We do not misrepresent our products and our a Jacuzzi shower dealer and Boca Walk-In bath dealer.  These are 2 separate formats within our organization and after talking to Mr. Clopper it was brought to our attention that our representative was not branded with Jacuzzi apparel and Mr. Clopper acknowledge Jacuzzi does not manufacturer Walk-In Baths.  This is simply a product of multiple companies working with the same client and the client deciding differently based on the conversation of the second represented company and not canceling his contract within the designated cancelation window.  

    At Colorado Living we strive to be the leader in Walk-In Bath and Shower installations for our service area and would not force a contract nor keep money from someone that is not interested in working with our company.
