      Business keeps adding erroneous past due charges to my account. I had lasik their in 2015 and paid in full $4198 at the time of my procedure, since then I received 2 erroneous past due invoices each charging me $4198 in 2025 for a total of $8396. I have called and emailed several times in the past 2 months and no one responds to me. I have been receiving threatening collections calls from a third party collections agency - I am scared for my credit score and also, receiving these unprofessional calls is upsetting. I need a response from the business, a credit and I'd like to remove my information from their records so that this doesn't happen again.

      In August of last year, I had Lasik done on my left eye the next day I went in for a follow up. They said everything was great. Three weeks later while watching TV a corrective lens popped out of my eye. The second the lens came out I knew exactly what was going on. I immediately couldnt see very good ,mind you I was never told a corrective lens would be put on my eye. I called the office. Left a message. No response. The next day called again. Spoke to someone told them what happened and that my eyesight was back to like Id never had surgery, they stated my eye just got used to the corrective lens,that shouldve been removed the day after surgery, I went in the following day saw the Doctor Who said the person that saw me the day after my surgery , they had had several issues with and was no longer with them. The lens shouldve been taken off of my eye, and my eye had adjusted to that lens. He said my eyesight was 20/20 so I dont know what to tell you. We dont need to see you anymore. I didnt believe him. I knew I couldnt see well but I thought OK, I just need to give my eyes time to adjust. I called back a couple months later and left a message saying I still cannot see very wellNo response so I waited couple more months. I called again because I was getting bad headaches and my eyesight was not getting better, no response. May 2024 I went to a new Dr Who said it didnt even look like I had surgery, and I should get my money back and my eyesight was absolutely not 20/20 and I am back to wearing glasses . I have called these guy several times to have some form of refund and I am getting no response. Less than a year after my surgery, and I paid EXTRA for a warranty on the surgery! I am not comfortable letting them touch my eyes after reading some new reviews about people having several surgeries and now being in pain all the time. This is not okay, Im not willing to possibly lose my eyesight all together to give them a chance to fix there mistake!

      On January 22nd 2024, I was informed by the Refractive Coordinator, ***************************, that the financing options would only involve soft credit pulls, which would not impact my credit score. Based on this assurance, She proceeded with the credit check. Contrarily, I was immediately notified of a hard credit inquiry, which can indeed affect my credit score.When I raised my concerns about the hard inquiry, ******************** initially suggested that I reconsider the surgery itself rather than addressing the incorrect credit check process she had assured me of. However, after some discussion, she did contact the lender, who confirmed that they indeed perform hard inquiries. No apology was offered at that time for the misinformation or the impact it had on my credit score.Following this, I emailed ************* who scheduled my consultation to express my concerns and received a voicemail from ******************** apologizing and providing information about the upcoming surgery. While I acknowledge the apology made in the voicemail, this does not rectify the misleading information regarding credit inquiries or the subsequent handling of my personal financial data.Moreover, despite being asked to email sensitive information, which was then printed for their files, I was later told that Cutarelli Vision does not keep such information on file for my protection. This contradictory stance on data handling further exacerbates my concerns. Cutarelli Vision cancelled my surgery due to "medical reasons" despite being told I was an ideal candidate. This cancelation occurred only after I expressed concerns about ***************************. The lack of transparency and proper communication is unacceptable. I request the BBB's assistance in seeking a proper resolution to this matter, which should include a formal apology from Cutarelli Vision, confirmation of secure handling of my personal information, and most importantly, an actionable solution to remove the unauthorized hard inquiry from my credit report.

      I'm filing a complaint against Cutarelli Vision for misrepresenting credit check procedures, mismanaging personal financial data, and an unauthorized hard credit inquiry without my consent. On January 22nd 2024, during my consultation at Cutarelli Vision, I was told by *************************** that a soft credit check would be performed. Contrary to this, a hard inquiry appeared on my credit report, affecting my score. When I complained, ******** suggested canceling my procedure, not fixing the credit issue. After I pressed, she admitted their lender does hard inquiries, an apology was made via voicemail after my email complaint. This doesnt fix the potential harm to my credit. Theres also concern over how my financial data was handled and conflicting information on their data retention policy. Im seeking the BBB's help for a resolution, including a formal apology, assurance of data security, and removal of the hard inquiry from my credit report. Since my initial complaint, Cutarelli Visions behavior has worsened. After an apology, they pressured me to accept payment as an apology and to retract my ****** review. I recorded this call as evidence of coercion. After I removed the ****** review they texted, asking me to soften my BBB feedback and avoid mentioning money, which feels like an attempt to censor my experience. The hard inquiry remains on my report, showing inaction on their part. Their response to my unease over their offer was unsatisfactory. This behavior may be illegal, and their BBB affiliation shouldnt protect such actions. When I was in their office for the consultation they had a BBB poster on their filing cabinet. I urge the BBB to investigate and hold them accountable. I want the hard inquiry removed, a complete formal apology, and a stop to coercive tactics. Thank you for addressing these issues and helping to rectify the damages Ive faced.

      Dr. ********************* office has failed multiple times to provide *complete* records. They have sent empty envelopes, blank sheets etc. I purchased a life time plan. I had surgical complications and no after care has been provided, directly in breach of the additional coverages I purchased. He agreed to a refund but has been 'on vacation' since. He has refused a peaceful resolution. He has flat out lied to other providers, and more unsettling he appears to have open criminal investigation ongoing in **** under an alias and has threatened my person if I make this information known. The entire situation makes me very uncomfortable. I need my refund so that I may get another corrective surgery and far away from this doctor.

      The complainant is untruthful about ever having a lifetime plain--she did not and a refund for her extended plan has already been tendered to her.   Her records have been provided, multiple times, and show no need for enhancement.  She has ideal vision and still wants money.  Independent and significant 3rd parties have investigated her frivolous complaints--twice--and dismissed her, utterly.  There is no scamming on this side.  We wish her and her other doctors all the best.  If defamation occurs, it must be handled.

      I am rejecting this response because: complete surgical records were never provided, a partial record was. I purchased a 10 year plan which was never refunded. A check was issued to an old address and Dr. ******************** has refused to provide one to the correct address. Multiple other doctors have confirmed my vision is NOT 20/20. He flatly abandoned his patient.

      We really dont think this patient has the same facts as we do.  Thus, if the patient will send us the records of those doctors who say she is not 20/20, we will consider and review them.  Our experience has been that she has been inconsistent in her responses and objectively demonstrable to have had excellent surgery and objectively demonstrable to be untruthful.   We cannot condone this type of blackmail and have terminated her from our practice.   In good faith however, we will be happy to review any new records, as new data can occur so t0 speak for/to anyone.  Respectfully submitted and awaiting records.

      On 09-16-2022 my wife and I went to Cutarelli vision for a consultation for her and after the appointment we decided to do their layaway plan that required a $250 initial deposit. A few weeks later we decided we didnt want to go through with the surgery and called Cutarelli to cancel the surgery and get our deposit back. The lady proceeded to tell us that the deposit was non-refundable and that we should have been notified of that when the deposit was made - which we were not. She then told us that the non-refundable part was on the paper work they gave us explaining the different ways to pay for the surgery - which it was not. I want a refund for this shady business they practice.
