I was quoted ******* to pack / load a two bedroom apartment. I had already packed many items myself. I then sustained a TBI at work with a patient falling on me. I called ************************************************* and told them I may need extra help. I also informed them that the furniture in the second bedroom would not be packed as I had sold it. One, they never finished the job leaving a fair amount of items in my apartment. ( I have photos) Two, they never wrapped my furniture, resulting in damages to my bed, dresser and sofa. ( I have photos when needed) Third, when the *** arrived, there were many missing items. All conveniently designer items and alcohol. Some of the movers had to excuse themselves for parole meetings. So I feel the theft speaks for itself. **** Fischer is refusing my call, and refusing to file a libel claim. I want a claim filed or refund of my $3700.00 so I can fix the damages myself. Pictures include list of missing items and damages to furniture. Also, pictures of how this company packed my belongings . Such a shame that companies like this are able to stay in business and take advantage of the disabled.

    Good afternoon ****,
I have attached a couple of documents down below.

-******************* paperwork (3-days worth of work)
-CRS (insurance) conversation regarding this claim.
-UFG (insurance) conversation regarding this claim.
-Reviews from ********************************************************************************************* LLC worked for ******************* for three days straight. This was scheduled to be completed in one day, but the customer, ****, needed to take medicine after an event that happened at her work. We knew there was going to be a problem when she started crying and explaining her current situation as a result of her previous relationship. We were supposed to finish packing, but she said she wanted to send us out of the apartment to continue the job the next day because she was tired and wanted to lay down. Since that day, she has been slandering our movers, calling them racist insults, and claiming that we stole from her. This impacts us since we have a variety of colors working for us. We only use the best and most expert movers. On the third day of the move, we had to load her pod that she purchased and we didn't transfer the pod. As a result, if you look in our contract, it states ************************************************** is not responsible for damage done to items loaded into pods, trucks, or storage whereas customer does not provide adequate for packing and storing" and ************************************************** is not responsible for any damage done during transit of goods where a ************************************************* employee is not the driver-shipper's" She has been harassing the office ever since, demanding her money back. We have tried to inform her that we are not liable for the pod that was moved on her behalf because the transportation was handled by another company, on top of everything, we gave her the third day at no charge ************** because Mr.Fischer didn't even want her money due to all the threats we received during the move.

Please take the time to review all documents and statements.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact us via email or call Mr.Fischer @ ************.
    Thanks again,

    **************************;

The owner **** is condescending and not willing to make things right for mistakes the company makes. He admitted that they made a clerical error which impacted our move but was unwilling to come to an agreement on the total charge. We were quoted $850 for 3 hours with 3 movers to move our 1.5 bedroom apartment into a single family home. The day of the move only 2 movers showed up but the paperwork had the rate for 3 movers which I called out so they adjusted it to a two person rate. They assured me they would do what they could to knock it out as quickly as possible. Half way through the move they realized it was taking longer than expected so asked if they could bring over another guy which we approved since that was what was originally agreed upon. However they eventually told us they were understaffed and the third individual wasnt joining after all. 7 hours and $1600 later they finally finished. This was double the cost we were expecting and is absurd for moving a 1.5 bedroom apartment. I cant even imagine how much it would cost if we had more stuff. Our friends moved the same day we did with a different company and paid half as much to move double the items. Overall nothing that was originally agreed upon was upheld by the company and due to our moving deadline we didnt have the ability to pull out the day of which has now put us with a *************** over what was budgeted for.

We are sorry you feel that way, but we were very up front with you when we booked the job. The time starts when we get there and ends when we're done i.e., to the contract that you signed. Each move is different, there is no set value, and we wish you the best, but we cannot adjust the price.

I am rejecting this response because:

The issue is their lead mover stated they would transport my furniture wrapped and padded. He assured me they would do this at their site, as they needed more materials.

The moving team did not wrap the furniture and it arrived bad damaged.   I trusted the integrity of this company to follow through with what they promised.

Fischer's team made a mistake and the company refuses to acknowledge this.  What reputable moving company would move furniture without wrapping it?

Fischer did not provide the service I paid for when they failed to wrapping the furniture, as promised.

And the point about insurance is completely invalid regarding the furniture that was not shipped as promised.

I'm not making a claim on any items that were shipped properly, but I am beyond furious that this company refuses to take responsibility for mistakes made by its representatives.  A $6000 dining set was ruined and they take no responsibility for the fact this was wholly caused by their moving team not following through.

Fischer has seen the pictures and they know perfectly well that the dining set was not shipped properly. But they refuse to own the mistake.

I stand by my original request for $500 to fix the table and $200 for each chair.  All will have to be sanded, gouges filled, and refinished.

    Sincerely,

    *********************************

nsation more than $400.I believe that the damage waiver does not apply in this situation because of the movers gross negligence and dishonesty in disclosing exactly how my furniture would be transported.

We offered more than enough to get the scratches fixed and she didn't purchase the insurance.

We hired ************************************************* on 12/12 to move a tree after they were recommended by the garden center where we bought it. Our Office Manager was clear on the tree's importance, value, and dimensions when she booked the reservation. We paid $120 to hold the reservation and understood we'd pay an additional $240 minimum ($360 in total).Unfortunately, the men they sent out were unprepared and didn't come with a truck tall enough to stand the tree up inside. Refusing to take any responsibility for their mistake, they charged us full price even though no services were completed.I spoke with the owner, ****, hoping they would justify their reasoning for the charges but he maintained that our Office Manager had given his team incorrect information. A claim I know to be incorrect and dishonest. When I rejected his proposed discount, a surprising move on his part considering his persistence that we, in fact, were at fault for the miscommunication, Mr. ********************** became verbally abusive. After several minutes of being harassed, berated, and finally, after threatening me with physical violence - Mr. ********************** encouraged me to "take him to court" and hung up on me.It's okay that you disagree with me, but it's never okay to speak to your customers like this.

They we're informed about the height of our box truck the day we booked the job and we were told the tree would fit. The tree was to tall for the truck and we offered to lie it down in the back. It would have fit no problem if we were to lie it down. The customer told us not to lie down his tree in the truck on that he didn't want us to move it. We have to get paid for our time, it wasn't our fault they measured it wrong and he didn't want us to move it. He lied to me repeatedly and he was very rude and disrespectful. I offered to give him half off the move as a gesture of good faith and he became very arrogant and obnoxious. So I kept it at the same rate. HE WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO USE OUR SERVICES AGAIN! He's lying about threats of physical violence also!
