    Ive contacted ******************** (multiple times) for a copy of my 2023, 1099 Misc form that they were to mail by the last day of January, 1/31/24. Now I cant make my tax preparation appt. tomorrow 2/24/24, because I still havent received the form. They sent me a link about a week ago, Owner Relations Portal that does not work. I advised them and no response. They are late, per IRS regulations, sending out 1099 forms.

    My husband, *************************************, received a monthly royalty payment from BKV for gas ***** located in Wise County *****. Upon his death in July 2021, I began the transfer process to move this into my name. I paid an attorney to file the Affidavit of Heirship, as required by the **************, in Wise County. This was filed December 29, 2022.Around mid January, 2023, I sent a registered letter with the appropriate paperwork (Death Certificate, proof of AFH filed, our will, our marriage license (****), and a cover letter stating that the direct deposit would remain the same (but also included another voided check showing the same account).I never got any feedback upon receipt of this information to BKV.In March of 2023, I stopped receiving a monthly royalty check. When I called BKV around April 1st to inquire about the issue, I was told that they were so far behind that it would be *** or June before I would receive the paperwork that they needed to transfer the royalty into my name/account.They knew nothing about the letter and documents that I had mailed to them earlier.As of today, I have not received ANY information from BKV about the freeze on this account or the forms that BKV needs from me to complete this transition into my name.I find this unacceptable. It is not my problem that they are "behind" but it is my problem that I don't have access to the monthly check that I use to pay my bills.My husband and I have received this monthly royalty check since approximately ****. On October 2, 2020, ******************************* sold their ******* Shale assets to BKV *******. Our monthly check for all those years with ***** was a direct deposit on the 15th of each month. Since BKV began to manage these assets, the monthly direct deposit has become a mystery appearing in our account from mid month to around the 26th.Please advise and thank you in advance for your help in this matter.
