Moreover, I did things differently this time. I had ***********, OD to do my REFRACTORY EXAMINATION THIS YEAR. SHE WORK FOR: uchealth OPTICAL. Likewise, it took a while, but I moved on from ***************, OD, of the ***** Five (5) years ago, ***********, OD gave me a Rx for eye drops to help improve my vision. THANK GOD FOR THAT!!! The thing is, ***********, OD should have given me a 2nd Rx because of: GLAUCOMA!!! Five years later, I went to the uchealth OPTICAL **** & WAS SEEN BY ***********, MD. HE IMMEDIATELY GAVE ME A 2nd Rx to SLOW THE PROGRESS OF MY GLAUCOMA. Ardently, I had to pay outta my pocket @uchealth for ***********, OD service. HEREIN LIES THE ***** In the past, I was able to receive an EYE EXAM, PLUS 2 PAIR OF EYEGLASSES, i.e., READING ****************** GLASSES, ALL FOR MY $200.00 ALLOTMENT FROM MY ****** HEALTH INSURANCE. Today, when I dropped my **************** Rx with: EyeCare Specialties of Colorado, located on the 4th Floor of the DHMC's "L" BLDG. I spoke with MR. ************************ OPTICIAN. After he finished his tabulations, he demanded that I pay EyeCare Specialist of Colorado $21.00. I inquired why. He said the price of glasses has gone up. THIS EXPLANATION DIDN'T MAKE ANY SENSE TO ME BECAUSE IN THE PAST, I WAS ABLE TO RECEIVE 2/pair OF GLASSES, PLUS A DOCTOR'S ***** This year, I had no Doctor's **** from the ***** so my total allotment of $200.00 went solely for the glasses. I HIRE BLACK EMPLOYEES, THAT'S DISCRIMINATION, PERIOD!!! TANGENTIALLY, I DEMANDED TO SPEAK WITH THE DISTRICT MGR. I COULD ONLY LEAVE MY email ADDRESS TO: ****************************************** WHO HAS NOT CONTACTED ME. EyeCare Specialties ref'd to hire any BLACK Employees, yet steal from BLACK PATRONS. LAST YEAR, THIS $200 COVERED MY EYE ************* OF GLASSES

    On 11/27/23, I placed an Eye glass Rx with ******** Specialties of COLORADO, Order#******** (Distance Glasses) & #******** (Reading Glasses). ******************************************* is the *** DIST/MGR. Moreover, when I picked-up my Glasses on: 12/06/2023, I couldn't see outta my Distance Glasses. The Mexican Guy, who gave them to me said: Wear them for 2/wks. before they adjust to my eyes. I couldn't wear them for 1/day, COZ they hurt my eyes & gave me a headache. Ardently, I've complained about Crappy Workmanship by *** of COLORADO over the past 5/yrs. Tangentially, over the past 4/yrs. I've complained to Former President/CEO of the ***** Dr. ************************ PhD about ********************** from ***. This is the 1st/yr that I'm Complaining to ************************** CEO, P.H. Regrettably, *** of COLO just placed BLANK LENSES in my Distance Glasses, i.e., they have NO MAGINIFICATION & NOT FILLED ACCORDING TO MY uchealth Rx!!! I'm willing to have an Independent Contractor check these lenses for DEFECTS. Finally, I don't want to *** the **** COZ I just dropped a lawsuit against **** because **** finally did the RIGHT THING. However, if I find an ATTY who is willing to launch a: "CLASS ACTION" Lawsuit against *** of COLORADO, I'm ALL IN!!! This RACIST ORG have NO BLACK EMPLOYEE'S. Each year, its the same thing. Take for EX, it took me 5 tries, over a 2/mo. period in order to get my **** Eye Rx CORRECTED, 3/yrs ago!!! Each of the other 4/yrs., it was the same scenario, i.e., GHETTO WORKMANSHIP!! If however, A: "CLASS ACTION" Lawsuit does Materialize, the **** may become Collateral Damage because the ******** Specialties of COLORADO work for the **** as a Contractor!!! To the ***** you CAN DO BETTER & YOU SHOULD DO BETTER!!! I JUST FINISHED FILING A BBB COMPLAINT AGAINST *** of COLORADO just 2/weeks ago. THESE FOLKS TREAT ME LIKE I'M A: "Run-away-SLAVE!!!     I brought my glasses in to have the lenses changed. They charged me $390 for this service. Then due to their neglect, they broke my glasses frame. They clearly did no know what they were doing. They then proceeded to continue to charge me $390 for the experience of braking my glasses. I was told "This kind of thing happens and the only thing we can do of you is to offer you 20% off new frames"

    This practice was deceptive and coercive. I was quoted for an eye exam which I agreed to, and given an extra service with no warning that it would incur an additional fee. This was nearly twice the amount I was quoted on the phone and in person at the front desk when I arrived. When I challenged them, they doubled down and talked down to me that it was my responsibility to be educated as a consumer on all their fees, and they had no fault. They refused to give me my prescription details - which I need in order to function properly at my job - until I had paid and signed a document they had neglected to give me previously that stated my "awareness" of the extra charge. Instead of owning the mistake they had made, they threatened to send to collections.I would like to be refunded the original amount that I was quoted.
