On the evening of FEB 14 2024 I paid *********** for event parking at their event lot at the ************************************** Proof of payment is attached. I asked if I needed a slip/receipt for my dashboard and was told no by the attendant who took my payment. I was told they stay onsite for the duration of the event. We parked and went to the event around 7:30pm, and when we returned to the vehicle around 11:15pm, it had been towed by the ********************** I had to pay for a ride share home ($46) and another one to retrieve my vehicle the next morning ($21). The cost to retrieve my vehicle from ****** was $363.77. All of this on top of the parking costs I had paid, of $25. The manager on duty at the ****** said that the towing and parking has nothing to do with them it is a third party company who sells the lot spaces on event days, and had no means to reach the parking company. He said the parking company is contracted by the landowner, not the Wendys. I seek refund of the parking, plus reimbursement of the towing, storage, and ride-share charges, as my car was towed from the paid space at 9:15pm.Initial Complaint

In ****** for a concert, where there were no Public Parking Spaces. We entered a lot around 6:30 that had a sign that said "20$ Parking". We paid 20$ cash to an attendant, who then placed a receipt/ticket on my dash. We then parked where we were told. We were parked for ~5 hours, but no time limit other than a 2am departure time was displayed on the ticket. After the concert was finished, around 11:30, we came back to the lot to see our car had been towed. We were either sold parking for a lot that StopNPark had no right to sell in, or this was a scam with them working alongside *************. Discussing this with multiple other people in the lot who's cars were also towed, this was explained to us as a well-known (in ****** at least) scam that was pulled. I am looking for a refund for the payment to park there, and an invenstigation into the business practices of StopNPark, as they are either not allowed to have people park where they advertise, or are working directly with the local towing company, Wyatts, to remove people's cars. Attached you can see the receipt/ticket, where you can see the displayed rules. None of which were violated.Business Response

Hi,
I would like to know when this happened ? You will get a full refund. ****** is not to tow any vehicles that have paid and if this is the case we need to report this. We need the receipt that you paid for the tow and ask for photos of the car that was towed, ****** has to take photos before they can tow a car. , ****** has all this in their system so we can go after them. Once we have all the photos of your vehicle from ****** and the tow receipt we will get a refund to to you. Thank yo for bring this matter to our attention

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me, as long as the amount for the tow is fully refunded.Attached you'll find the pictures requested of my vehicle. Also attached are photos of the parking receipt/ticket, and the receipt for the Towing Fees, paid for by my friend ***********************, who was on the vacation with me. Please let me know if you require anything more, but this should be sufficient to get the information from ******* Towing.

Hi,
The receipt shows March 23rd and we don't have a concert on that day . The tow company gives you a receipt that has the time , date, plate number, address of pick up ,driver and has the real date of the vehicle being towed from a property. That is the tow ticket that i need. Please provide the tow ticket that has the information on it. Looking forward to getting the information so we can get them for wrongfully towing a vehicle. Much appreciated in getting the documents so I can press charges.
Thank you

I am NOT rejecting this response, but last time ACCEPTING their response closed the ticket. So I am not wanting to cause issues by picking Reject, it just seemed like the only good option to pick.Attached you can find the receipt acquired from ******* Towing. Please review and respond and let me know how we're moving forward.
Sincerely,

I am rejecting this response because:we have not been refunded by the *************** nor the parking company. Their response claims that the refund was issued on 3/23 but that was the day my car was towed. They did not issue the refund the same day.

On February 23, 2022 I parked with *********** in ******. I paid the fee and received a receipt to place on my dash. Upon returning to my car, there was a ticket on the window. I thought is was a joke as the parking receipt was right there on the dash. Now 10 months later they have turned it over to a collection agency. Upon doing more searching, I see this is a common scam with ************Business Response

On 8/27/2022 at at approximately 6:30 PM After paying $50.00 for a parking permit. The lot attendant threw the permit in the car after. This morning upon finding our vehicle was gone. After speaking with the lot attendant. We were informed that as long as the parking permit was in the car at the time they would not charge us to get the car out of *****************. However, when we went to ***************** to retrieve our car. We were told we still have to pay a very outrageous fee of $420.42 to get my vehicle. After retrieving my vehicle. We found it damaged. The back bumper is now hanging off my vehicle. My brand new rims are scratched near the tire. The left front tire is sliced. The front right tire is scratched. Also, there are scratches on the right rear bumper. Whoever handled my vehicle was very careless and didnt even consider the damaged. Photos were taken at the ***** Towing Lot after seeing all of these damages. After informing the employee at the check in window at ***************** and she was very nonchalant about the whole ordeal. She handed us a form and simples stated put in a claim. We completed the form before leaving the ***** Towing Lot. These are costly repairs. I was unaware entrusting my vehicle in your lot would cost me so many expensive repairs. I would like to know whom is going to compensate my family and I for this inconvenience and expensive repairs.Business Response

Hi BBB,
Please have her provide the ticket that she received with the response. On the ticket it says:
Parking ticket must face up on the dash board or your vehicle may be ticketed and/towed
* No in and out privileges
*No refunds
* No Exchanging tickets
* Vehicles left after 2am will be towed
When she claims that she came back for her car in the morning, that is why the vehicle was towed. She read the terms of the parking agreement and parked anyways. Customers always ask and we tell them, they decide to park somewhere else. Have her provide the receipt and I will refund the $50.
As, far as the tow she would have to talk with the tow company that towed her vehicle about the damages.
