    This private company placed a 'parking violation' ticket on my windshield.There were no signs indicating the lot was not intended for the business it was next to.The ticket is clearly an attempt to mislead and intimidate people into sending a check to this non licensed operator.

    Dear Better Business Bureau,I am filing a formal complaint against 5280 Parking Services, and the parking enforcement at *****************************, managed by *************************************** a resident adjacent to this lot, I have experienced unfair and unprofessional practices:On 3/28/2024, I received a $40 parking ticket after briefly parking in the lot, despite leaving a note with my contact information. On 8/27 I was left a note after leaving my car for 20 minutes due to construction on the street, to unload groceries, that I would be towed. Attempts to pay the first ticket were met with confusion. The company's website states they do not handle parking services. Any research about the company online (i.e. ****** reviews) says they explicitly don't do tickets. When I called, "****" answered without proper identification, offering only unsafe payment methods like over-the-phone credit card payments to a personal number. Inconsistent Enforcement and Possible Discrimination:Many vehicles without permits park regularly without being ticketed, such as an RV abandoned since June 2024, while I was targeted. This suggests arbitrary enforcement and possible discrimination.Unprofessional Communication:Correspondence with lot administrator **** ******* was unhelpful. He defended the enforcement practices without addressing my concerns or offering solutions.Impact on Me:The unfair ticketing has caused stress and financial concern.Lack of transparent channels has made it impossible to resolve the issue adequately.Evidence:Photographic evidence and email correspondence are available upon request.Desired Resolution:I request an investigation into 5280 Parking Services for unfair and unprofessional practices, including:Reviewing enforcement policies for fairness.An official apology for the unprofessional treatment.Assurance that unwarranted tickets are voided and my credit is not affected.Thank you for your time and consideration.Sincerely,***** *****

    Hi *****, I have talked to **** and we have waived the ticket and the ticket has not been send to collection or you would have been sent months ago since this was written in March. The ticket says parking violation and you sent it to 5280 parking . You are confused as to what company . Thank you for reaching out and your ticket has deleted from the system.

    I am rejecting this response because: This is the point of the complaint.  The 5280 parking service is a scam service, using the same number, name, and contact information to issue private parking tickets, but then claiming on ****** and the business bureau that they don't do parking.  They are either lying about the parking, or need to find a new name and number that is not coincidently the same as this other company issuing tickets.

    i am not sure where you are getting 5280 parking from. The ticket has parking violations on the ticket. I am not sure why you insist that 5280 parking wrote the ticket. Here is what you did, you parked in a property that you did have a permit nor did you pay for the parking that you parked, we waived the ticket for you and agreed that you broke the rules of the property. We issued you a ticket and you claim that it is a scam. It is not a scam you broke the law by not pay or having a permit . If you like we can set up a meeting with the BBB or airbitionn so we can explain to you so you will understand the rules , why we gave you a ticket and the name of the company. Let us know what day work and time to schedule a time to explain the issue to because you do don't understand.

    I am rejecting this response because: this is not OK. I do not dispute I made a mistake parking in the lot.  I have my own struggle as a resident living in this city where no parking is made available.  However, I paid the ticket to the company.  It was not waived.  I paid cash to ****.  This is evident in the email chains I submitted as evidence in the BBB case initially and am happy to submit again.  

     

    You claim you don't ticket, but then here you clearly state that you do ticket people.  You either are a parking services company, or you are not one.  The scam is that you claim to not take responsibility for parking services time and again on multiple issues, on ****** reviews, on your website, initially with BBB.  You ARE a parking service, you issue private tickets.  This MUST be reflected on all your websites, your conversations, your interactions as a business.

    the owners asked to delete the ticket and we did. You are asking for a refund  please provide your payment receipt or  some kind of documentation that you paid do we can refund you a refund. Bbb and us will be waiting for your proof of payment. Thanks
