      We had the main sewage line in our home back up at the end of Nov 2023. The plumber came out and recommended we replace the existing line for the yard's edge instead of doing a less involved fix, as the problem was that tree roots were obstructing the pipe. They quoted roughly $1000 to clear the existing pipe, with a recommendation to come back yearly to snake out the line or told me that for $4500, they would fix the problem entirely by replacing the pipe with the sidewalk. I agreed to the more expensive procedure, understanding that it would resolve the root problem. It did not; apparently, the roots continued under the street and sidewalk, continuing to cause an obstruction. They agreed to give it a year and return to snake the line, and my understanding was that if there were still a problem, there would be some fix or reduced-price process to finish the job. They snaked the line, found a root problem, and told me that was my problem. I called the owner to discuss the issue, and he denied their responsibility, saying he would never recommend not snaking a mainline once a year. He signed off on the original project and was on the phone with the plumber daily. He then told me even though their documentation confirmed that the $4500 would resolve the line issue that, he would never say such a thing, and his tech must have verbally told me it could fail. He then scheduled time to come to the house to discuss the situation and never called or showed. I am now $4500 less and have a the same yearly maintenance requirement I would have had if they had not scammed me for half a job.

      We turned the water on this year for our sprinkler system and we couldnt get it to work. I called Angies List for a referral and they gave me My Buddy the Plumber who came out on April 17, 2024 to check it out. First they told me there was a diagnostic charge of $300 to check to see why the system is not working. Sounded fair. After 10 minutes, the plumber guy called the master plumber to come out to see why the water was not working. Clearly the person they sent to begin with didnt know what he was dealing with. Then the master plumber shows up, not having looked at anything and stated it would cost $7,000 to go through the entire sprinkler system. I was shocked at the price. Next thing I the plumber said the office called the technician and reduced the price of $3,800 to fix the system. He had me so freaked out that our whole system was ruined. The plumber called Roto-Rooter to dig the ditch for any main line issues. At that point, I told him before you start digging, you should call South ***** Water to see if the water was turned on. The request was ignored, and they dug the ditch anyway. **************** came the next day and told him the water wasnt on yet in our neighborhood. No wonder it didnt work. They never even checked it before tearing up my yard. They packed up, gave us an invoice for $3800 for the trench and walked away our sprinkler system didnt work. It changed nothing. We even called out another company to verify the sprinkler system. They concluded the system was fine but the water wasnt turned on! I think they didnt have a clue what they were doing. I am older and I feel I was a victim of a vendor hustling senior citizens for money. Once the water was turned on, everything worked just fine.

      Upon arrival of the first technician,  he properly accessed the issue's that were presented in the work order. After not locating the actual issue the service professional reached out to the supervisor for further guidance. Once the supervisor arrived did hid own evaluation.  The supervisor reached out to **********************. The technician that arrived was ************.  Both the supervisor from My Buddy the Plumber and the technician from South ***** water explained to the homeowner the water was not yet turned on. He didn't accept that was the issue as he mention his neighbor had the water working correctly. The homeowner ****** insisted we move forward with the repair and figure out the issue.  After our services the homeowner reached out the another company.

      My Buddy The Plumber has been fully resolved.  They fully refunded our monry.
