    We hired Repipe at the beginning of Aug for them to begin in Sept. Originally, my husband Z was listed as the contact as he was unemployed. Shortly after, he got a driving job and could rarely answer the phone at work, so we asked Repipe to use me as point of contact instead. They called Z a few days into his new job to schedule. Z booked them for 9/13 and reminded them they were supposed to call me, not him. A few days before the 13th, Repipe again called Z saying their team was having issues. He reminded them to go through me. On 9/12, I called the *** to confirm and she said shes still waiting to hear back and got rude and defensive when I told her I was ****** at the shoddy communication. She accused me of cussing and threatened to cut me off if I didnt stop with the attitude. I called the main customer service line, but they didn't have access to contractor scheduling and asked me if I knew which contractor was working on our job. Confused, I said that we specifically hired Repipe. Only then did we learn they actually farm out to subcontractors and we had no idea who would actually be there. I called our sales *** back and asked for the sub's name, but she refused to give it and falsely insisted she told us about the subcontractors. I called the main line back and eventually got to a manager who apologized and rescheduled for 9/17. On 9/16, the manager called me to confirm the sub's arrival the following day, but on the 17th, the sub called Z, who reminded him to call me. We'd spent hours the previous evening p***ping the house for the work. On 9/17, I waited 3 hours past the appointed time and finally got a call from a man with very bad English and a screaming child that made it almost impossible to understand. He asked to send the crew to the house tomorrow and I agreed. When they FINALLY showed up, they waited until they were just leaving to inform me that they'd be tearing out our insulation and we would need another company to fix it!

    The pipes are functional and appear to be properly installed. That's the extent of my positive feelings.They took the cover off the street side water meter to shut off the main water. Instead of reinstalling it properly with the lock, they simply set the lid on there. I stepped on it coming home from a walk with my family and fell through. My leg has a significant wound and soreness. I got lucky, it could have really done some damage. Fortunately, I'm not yet elderly or disabled.When we called them they were hostile and said "You didn't go to the doctor so you aren't injured. What do you want me to do about it?" We were looking for an apology and some assurance that they wouldn't do that to someone else.I'd go with someone else.

    As has been said, we're sorry that your repipe experience wasn't as smooth as we always want them to be. This is the first time we've heard an allegation of hostility. I assure you, the situation is being looked into. We're aware that you shared a video of you falling. Could you also share video of the water meter cover being replaced? Once our investigation is complete, we'll be in touch with you.
