    My husband and I purchased a couch from Furniture Row in 2020, with that we added on a 5 year accident protection plan warranty. December of 2022, I noticed our couch had stains so I filed a claim with the warranty company. They rejected my claim even though my stains were accidental and my coverage plan is for accidents/spills etc. When I looked up the company, other people are also saying they did not receive new furniture for their accidents as well. I believe this warranty company is scamming people. It's called *******/Great White Bottling.

    This customer filed a claim with our office for stains on 2 pieces of her sectional.  The "customer stated" the following when starting the claim within our database:

    Description of problem: red/ pink stains

    Cause of problem: accidental spills or clothing --(I am unsure of the content of the stains since we had multiple family members over for Christmas, New Year, etc.). I used the couch cleaner provided with my warranty when I purchased the couch at Furniture Row and it has not removed the stains. Thank you.

    When did damage occur? around 12/26/22

    A decision was sent to the customer for Unknown stains and/or dye transfer from clothing on both the arm, back cushion and seat cushion of the pieces.  The plan purchased by the customer is for Accidental Stains from a Single Specific incident, however this customer stated that she does not know the specific stain on the furniture as we do not cover any or all stains that occur on the furniture. We have attached a copy of the Decision sent & brochure for our protection plan highlighting the areas that relate to this claim.

    I am rejecting this response because: 1. The response wasn't in a timely manner and 2. How the stains came to be or knowing the exact content of a stain was not explained at purchase when we opted for the stain protection warranty. 
    I stated "accidental spills or clothing ( I am unsure of the content of the stains since we had multiple family members over for Christmas, New Years, etc." That does not eliminate the fact that some form a liquid was spilled on my couch. The uncertainty is whether or not it was a juice, water or so forth that could have been spilled directly on my couch or onto someone's person and onto my couch. It is still a stain and still an accident. This company refused to ask more questions after this or continue to look into my case.

    I purchased a warranty plan for furniture. The plan covered any staining that *** occur. I had cooking oil splatter onto the cushions and cannot remove it. When I submitted pictures of the stain the response was it would not be covered because it was a stain from normal wear. The stain is clearly several drops around a quarter size.
