    On June 30, 2021, ******************* of Alpha-crete applied a decorative material to the front stairs of my house, designed to mimic flagstone. He assured me that this installation would last at least five years without maintenance. He explained that he uses materials that have been made illegal in ******** because they supposedly adhere s better than the materials available in *********However, the material has developed chips and unsightly white lines, falling short of acceptable standards. Since May 2024, I have repeatedly contacted *** to address these issues. Initially, he delayed his responses, promising action 'next week' or 'next month,' but he has now ceased communication altogether.I requested, at a minimum, guidance on how to make these defects look acceptable, but he has not even complied this request. I would like this business to honor the 5-year warranty by repairing the defects. Alternatively, he could remove the material and issue a refund, allowing me to hire a reputable contractor for the repairs. Should he opt not to engage, I am prepared to hire another contractor to remove the material, provided he covers the costs and refunds the initial payment.
