    I first reached out to Rooftop Sound Studios in June 2024. As an artist I was looking for a music producer/audio engineer who I could create a positive working relationship with as I tackled the process of taking multiple songs I had been working on over the course of the last 5 years and re-recording, editing, mixing and mastering them to get them ready for release. Many of the songs were 75% complete and I was looking for someone to help me clean them up and bring my vision to life. I met ****** and thought this could be a good partnership and he understood and agreed with my vision. We drew up a contract and I paid upfront for 150 hours of studio time at a rate of $50/hour. Over the next few weeks and months things went ok. I wasn't convinced however that any of the tracks we had worked on were at the point where I had expected and the first time I raised my concerns and expressed some ideas on what needed to be changed, ****** couldn't handle my input. He refused to make any changes claiming he knew what was best. I bit my tongue and continued to come in, but to a now hostile, passive aggressive environment. During one session the energy was so bad I had to get up and leave after 1 hour. When I got to my car I texted ******* explaining my frustration due to the rate of money I was paying and how I expected to be treated with respect as these were my songs. At this point he broke our contract and said my rate was now going up to $60/hour. I still had 68 hours at $50/hour, or $3400, left in time paid upfront with him. I told him if he couldn't have a consistent attitude and at least try to make it a positive environment then we should respectfully part ways and I would like my money back. He has now blocked all communication and is refusing to refund me for the unused $3400 of mine that he is holding onto.

    **** was denied service because he of inability to understand studio procedures, lies and treating language. **** booked his first session online where it shows to the public my rules and regulations of the studio. one of them is no refunds the others are rules for the artist to show up in time and prepared. **** was then blocked after showing up to my studio complex unannounced after walking out because I wasn't happy about **** treating my craft like a toy. After weeks of the same behavior I did raise the price broke it down for hi and **** agreed an continued to be a a problem. after receiving threading emails demanding him I refund him all the money spent including hours worked for already. I cut off contact because of the harassment and **** determination to rob me for work already done. attached is pdf of the contract where payed for 30 hours equal to 1500. I have evidence to prove this
