    This business is not being honest with customers and I believe may be a scam company that needs to be investigated. The tactics employed by this company to intimidate customers and try to make the issue my fault. They have now put a unjustified lean on my house and this complaint is part of the process to warn other consumers not to trust these people

    SHS is an honest, reputable, veteran owned, veteran operated business doing great work in the community for the last 6+yrs. We go the extra mile to accommodate our customers hopes, dreams and desires with regard to their renovation project. However, we draw a hardline with illegality in shape or form. Customers intending on defrauding their insurance companies and stealing money from hard-working **************** will find a battle here. 

    This customer was more than happy to engage with us before the work had been done. We worked intensely with his insurance company from 2yrs ago and got them to pay out more than $46,000 for his damages.  We engaged with the local building department to secure the necessary permitting and handled all the post-building inspections. We even sold and install brand new skylights for this customer because the old ones were installed incorrectly and were leaking. All of our work was completed in about 2days and we secured our trashed and walked the surrounding houses to pickup the trash that blew in the wind. After the roof work was completed, the customer complained that roofing material had blown into the customer's un-covered pool. No problem for us, the owner of the company went and bought pool cleaning equipment to use and cleaned the customer's pool at no charge. Because, that is the kind of business we are. 

    The attached communication logs show that we had been in contact with the customer alerting him that we needed get paid. I personally reminded the customer that we delivered on our commitments, we handled the battle to get the insurance company to approve this damages and to complete the roof replacement work according to local building code with inspections. We did good. But, the customer did not do his part and pay for the work that we had completed in honorable good-faith. 

    The lien on this property is justified and warranted because we have not been paid the money owed to us for our work.
