AC Inc. Roofing left the job incomplete so any stars are me being generous. Damage in the pics attached They were contracted to repair a leaky skylight for $850. When they eventually arrived (after initially missing the schedule we set) I was told a proper fix was going to cost $1955. This was a significant difference so I asked them to estimate the same work on all four of my skylights. I was told $3744. OK, clearly some price gouging when you can do them for $936 each but you want $1955 for one. That said, I accepted the new price for all four without fighting and decided to hold them to quality. The repair tech hammered hard on my roof for 4 days. Naturally, this knocked the interior drywall around the skylight onto our furniture which I cleaned every day. Not a small mess by any stretch but I didnt complain. When the exterior work was finished I naturally expected them to fix the new damage they caused. I was told this was out of scope. For anyone who has PM experience this is laughable. The scope didnt exist when we made the contract so it would have never been included. Its an issue they caused. When explained this, they agreed and brought in someone to drywall and texture. Great. This painful but Im happy if its being fixed. To everyones surprise the interior tech told us he wouldnt paint. I have the matching paint so this is seriously a small step to finish the repair. At that point, the owner **** ******* attempted to gaslight me with accusations and straight up lies. This is where they lost my business and my respect. I paid the invoice in full and will never, ever work with them again. You will regret it too. Stay away

This allegation on our project being incomplete is false and we have all finished photos on file.

We initially supplied a bid to you for one skylight based upon the photos shared within your initial request. After our in person consultation, it was found that all four of your skylight flashing were rusted and thus, we made an updated recommendation -with a good, better, best option. You made a decision on the multiple options we provided and we set an appointment. We had to reschedule your appointment from the original date of repair by two days due to weather delays and a death in the family of our repair technician who provided the labor for your job. It is at this moment you suggested compensation be made for rescheduling.

When working with skylights, especially after poor installation, years of condensation, and leaking issues - we never can know what correcting or replacing the units will do to the interior. On your units specifically, the interior drywall was installed with taping over your skylight unit. Once that unit was lifted, it lifted that tape as well. Again, as a roofing company, we can never be sure how the interior drywall is installed. As a roofing and exterior company, Interior collateral and finishing is never part of our scope of work (and was not provided as a scope of work included on the estimate you signed). However, when you brought this damage to our attention 5 days after the repair was completed and you had insisted on not paying your invoice for work completed, we did find and send a drywall specialist to repair all interior drywall at no cost to you. After two attempts to schedule and another week without payment, we confirmed an appointment with you. Our drywall specialist waited over 30 minutes at the scheduled appointment time to be let in. Yes, our drywall specialist is not a painter and the touch up painting was not discussed until our specialist was halfway through his fix. We did not only do an incredible job on the exterior of your home, we also did an incredible job on the interior which again, is not something we typically do. The interior drywall fix along with the scope of work we were contracted for is completed. At every attempt to part ways and after every appointment, you asked for more work to be performed. We provided as much as possible to give you an outstanding experience including offering a discount for you to hire a handyman to assist you in the painting touch up that we could not provide. From day one, it was clear we would never meet your expectations on this project.

Throughout the project you had our staff waiting for ***** minutes at multiple scheduled appointment times. You were incredibly rude to our female receptionist and your female project consultant, who went out of her way to prioritize your repair and assist with solutions for your interior.

We have never left a job incomplete and certainly did not do so here. Unfortunately, you have chosen to share photos online of prep work and the initial concern of your interior and not the completed photos. The truth is that the job was completed and the finished interior looks very good per your own words. We have these completed project photos on file and have shared them where able.
