    When I originally rented this storage unit I did it because it was a 24-hour access unit from the day one this company has bothered me when I've spent more than an hour at a time here. Just recently my rent was raised I was not informed that that was going to happen. **** within the last two weeks they added a $25 fee to my bill talking about damages when there has been no damage to this unit. Although I am a couple days late on my rent they decided to shut off my code and lock my door to where I could not get into it when two months ago when I was late it wasn't a big deal and I paid him $800 for 2 months of rent. They are doing it out of spite. Saying that I was leaving screws behind and puncture two of the owners tires which I'm all the way in the corner and that's an impossibility for anything to be picked up over here in front of my unit. Plus the fact that during the last couple snowfalls their plow did not plow correctly and I had six inches of ice 12 ft deep all the way to the front of my unit which I had to chip away in order to even get into my unit. they have taken no precautions no work whatsoever to try and get rid of this ice as it is covering every single unit that is facing to the north on all three rows. They are unreasonable people that want to control every aspect of this unit and if they want to limit people's times here that don't have it as a 24-hour access unit.And instead of calling me to let me know there was a problem they told another renter here that I was not allowed to be on this property which I was never informed of that so now they are defaming me and they're creating havoc behind my back because they're all about the drama. I spent close to 5 hours shipping ice out of in front of my unit so that I could actually get in it without breaking my neck so I always sending them an invoice for my services tomorrow.

    In response to ****************** Complaint issues:

     

    1. Customer has been asked numerous times to clean up in front of his storage unit, mainly in concerns of nails and screws.  He has continued to disregard our request.  After our continued requests, another customer actually storing next to his had brought it to our attention twice his concern about nails and screws.  We went out with the customer and found numerous nails/screws and swept them up.  There was actually another vehicle that picked up several nails in one their tires and had to have them replaced (over $400.00) and the nails appeared very similar to the ones that had been in front of his unit. ************* was not charged for the tires as we did not have actually proof.

    2. Customers was over 6 days late on his rent, which per the lease agreement our system automatically denies customer's access to the property until paid current.  ************* followed another customer (tailgated) in several times in the evenings, to get to his storage unit.  One time he was unable to exit the property and tampered with the exit gate motor to have it open.

    3. We did add a fee of $25,00 due to the customer's not abiding by our request to clean up the nails/screws, but did waive the fee when he paid current after being 11 days late.

    4. There was some ice in front of his unit ad other customer's unit (not 6" thick) and we do plow our property after it snows more then 4" and in no way was there even close to 12 feet of snow in front of his or any other customer's unit.  If a customer requests assistance with snow or ice we do our best to address it - but ************* never asked for our assistance.
