    We contacted ************ through ****.com. They came out and provided a bid for a small stucco project. The estimate included the removal of existing exterior tile. We then informed **** that we would remove the tile ourselves and wanted a revised estimate for the work that removed the demolition and haul away of the tile. To my shock the "new" estimate came back with the demolition removed but no price adjustment. When we asked them about it, they said the first estimate was a "clerical error" and that the price would remain the same. I have worked in, ran, and owned a residential construction over the past 20 years and this type of practice is common, shady, and dishonest.I informed them that we would be using a different company for our project to which we got no response. Use caution when hiring this company.
