    I am filing a complaint regarding the Wellness Tourism Association ***************** originally scheduled for November *****, 2024. I registered on May 23, 2024, and booked accommodations within the room block arranged by the ***, paying the full room rate and taxes upfront, totaling $2,186. This hotel booking came with a strict 91-day cancellation policy, prohibiting refunds within that window.On October 29, 2024well past the hotels refund cut-****** informed attendees that the conference was canceled, with no explanation provided. This delayed decision, despite knowledge of the refund deadline, has left me and other attendees unable to secure a refund for accommodations. While the *** has refunded only the conference registration fee, they have not taken responsibility for hotel costs, leaving participants at a loss.Furthermore, **** initial communication instructed participants to contact the hotel directly for refunds, which demonstrated a lack of transparency and accountability. The hotel has refused refunds, citing the cancellation policy, and the *** claims they have exhausted all efforts but remain unable to resolve the matter.I request assistance from the Better Business Bureau in holding the *** accountable for their failure to manage this situation appropriately and in helping me recover my funds.Thank you for your assistance.
