      The owner ***** agreed to return $200.00 of the money that I gave him for a job that was not done right. He proved to be quite argumentative and loud. He agreed in October 2023 and I am still waiting for the money.He lives three blocks from me. I stopped by his house twice but he won't answer the door. I have lived in this house for 33 years. He is a fairly new owner who stores trash and sporting equipment, building supplies and an old car on his corner property. He is doing business out of his house

      Kaffee received tree services on 11/12/2022 and was satisfied with the work we did. She was asking for a refund for an Aspen we did 11 months after services was done around 10/2023 because there were more dead branches on the Aspen which was not caused by the work we did. We cannot control what happens to the tree after services performed.  Dead branches/trees can be caused due to weather, climate, and other natural causes.  To ask for a refund 11 months after the fact is unreasonable and was never promised. 

      Her statement of Treetek working out of our house has nothing to do with the work performed so we are very unsure of why she even puts this in the complaint.  ************* allows small business to work out their residence.

      I am rejecting this response because: He is not telling the truth.  ***** was out of town when the work was done.  I called him when he got home and told he the team did a good job except for the aspen tree which they completely missed one side.  He said that they could tell whether the limbs were dead or not by the buds.  The branches were dead before winter set in.

      First I was told that he would fix the problem but he never did.  Then he tried to said it was damage from the spring snow.  I told him exactly where the dead branches were the winter before the spring storm.  I approached him many times and finally he said he didn't have time to fix the problem.  He said he would research my contract and refund the amount of the tree.  Well I waited almost two months.  Nothing.   Finally I caught him at home and he agreed to refund me the amount of $200.00.  I want my money now.

      ****** paid us right after the project so if there was dissatisfaction then why the payment in full? To provide customer satisfaction, we will refund Kaffee the $200 that she requested and put the check in the mail.  Meanwhile, we asked that ****** to no longer comes to our residence, rings our doorbell, leaves notes, or contacts us in anyway. Thank you.
