    Our truck was in the body shop after an accident, it arrived there end of June 2022 and it was near completion in early February 2023. During this time, we received a notice about a recall (the digital dashboard) so, hoping to be efficient, I asked the body shop and heavy-duty service to coordinate with each other to get the truck serviced after the body shop was done. The body shop finished and put the truck outside. When the service department got to the truck, the batteries had died (due to the cold) so they towed it and charged the batteries. Apparently, that costs nearly $500 but they never informed us. Before going to pick up the truck, there were multiple calls with both the body shop and heavy-duty service to hash out the final details. The only thing we were told is that we had the $1k deductible to pay. When we got to the shop, they stuck us with this $500 bill. It seems absolutely absurd that the body shop wouldn't give us a fully working truck, and they should've done the same for heavy-duty service. Even our claims adjustor said the situation "stinks" and thankfully she was kind enough to reimburse us for this.
