      I was a big dabtech supporter after buying a product from them (dabtech Duvo) and having a great experience. A year later I bought the new and improved version of the same product (duvo X), and noticed it wasnt quite right. I hooked up a voltmeter to it and found that they were falsely advertising that the device had 4 temperature settings when every one of those settings output the exact same voltage. Even worse, the pre-heat setting which typically would be less hot in order not to burn product was actually running hotter than the manual mode. I reached out to the business to ask about the settings, which initially they tried to lie about and pretend all was good. Once I sent them video evidence of the defect showing on the screen of my voltmeter, they acknowledged that there was a defect in the product (which they continue to sell to customers on their website!) And offered to replace the unit with the old model. Since I bought this unit and still have the old model I asked for a different product, and even offered to pay the difference in price between the two items. They have ceased all communication since this request.Here is the video showing that the product is defective:***************************************************** Since it's now been 2 weeks with no response I left a negative review outlining the above issue. They intercepted the negative HONEST review about defective product that they confirmed to me was defective and did not allow it to be publicly shown. This is a blatant violation of the FTCs consumer review fairness act and clearly their glowing reviews on the website are entirely cherry-picked. At this point I want the improved product I asked for (happy to ship back defective one, and pay difference in cost for the better unit), and an apology for being deceptive, anti-consumer, and operating entirely In bad faith. The should be fined for breaking the law.
