I received a Bill from Lab Corp which should have been paid in full through Medicare. When I called United Health they said it was a problem with the doctors order. I then tried over and over to reach Lisa in billing. When she finally called me back after weeks. I explained to her what the problem was. She said she would get with my doctor to refille the form. Never heard back. This week I left numerous messages for her to call me, I left a message for my doctor to see if Lisa had gotten in touch with her. There was nothing in my file to indicate Lisa had reached out to my doctor.

Last week, two notifications from the BBB were received communicating there was no further communication received from the complainant, and this ticket would be closed by the BBB.

To date, Axis has not heard from the complainant. Our Billing agent is working with the primary care provider to review/resolve this matter.  Medicare denied coverage of the cost of the labs due to medical necessity. The provider has reviewed the medical chart and is preparing the necessary paperwork for LabCorp to rebill the patient's insurance. Once the paperwork is finalized, it will be faxed to LabCorp, the laboratory company that performed the labs. This situation is being closely monitored. The Billing Agent is in communication with LabCorp to ensure all necessary steps are completed.

      Thank you

I am a senior citizen and on 07/01/22 I went on Medicare. I also enrolled in a Medicare Supplement with ****** ********** which picks up everything Medicare doesn’t cover. In 2022 I met my yearly Medicare deductible. Axis Health is my PCP. For the last six months I have been receiving bills from them for services provided on 7/27/22, 9/15/22, and 11/18/22. They are billing me $660.50 (account number *****). I have left over a half dozen messages with the trying to resolve this and asking them to resubmit to my Medicare and Supplement without ever receiving a call back. I just keep getting the same bill every month for services from a year ago. I have even left messages for their Office Manager (**) asking for her help without any success either. I have been to my PCP in the last six months without problems - they certainly have copies of my Medicare card and Supplement card. I am certain I do not owe this money and would really appreciate your help getting this resolved. My wife also has a recurring bill from over 2 years ago that she has not been able to resolve (***** ******** ******* ******
