    I ordered three loads of driveway mix. Two were delivered, was charged for three. ****** got stuck in my driveway, dumped his load at the front of my driveway, leaving me stuck. ***** pulled in shortly after he left, promptly getting stuck. I spent an hour helping to get the ***** truck freed. Called C&J to see if there's anything he can do to help and he said no. ***** was unapologetic, said there's nothing he can do and that I was charged correctly... though I was not. I am disputing my charge with C&J and my credit card company as I did not receive was was guaranteed. I paid extra to have them help level the driveway mix, instead I have **** inches of uneven gravel all down my driveway. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY

    I am sorry for any miscommunication about your order. We provide hundreds of estimates per week and have been delivering material for over 40 years. In my review of your order you were quoted for two loads and our estimate was very accurate. As I mentioned previously this material was hauled by a 3rd party contractor that we cannot guarantee their ability to spread the material. In our previous communication you agreed that you had been charged correctly and I indicated that we had not actually charged the full amount for time that it took for the delivery. We did not charge "extra" for spreading the material. The driver also told you that it would be difficult to spread evenly on your driveway because of how steep it was and you said that would be ok. When you called and ask for a discount or for us to come "fix" your gravel we chose not to do that because of all the information that you were provided. You received the material that you were charged for and it was spread as you asked even though the driver didn't think he could do a very good job. We have always been more that fair with customers when we are at fault. I know that we cannot make everybody happy but I feel like you are not being honest in your review. I would be happy to help you in the future if you cannot find the help you need. We will make sure that there is no misunderstanding of the service to be provided. If you would like to get a quote from another company to deliver two loads of material and spread it for you, I would be happy to pay you the difference if it is less than what we charged you.     I was unable to edit this review until now - I was not quoted for 2 loads, I was quoted for three.**Correction** - I was not overcharged, C&J just provided a quote that was no where close.
