Contracted Animas Well Drilling, LLC to install a purified drinking water system under my kitchen sink at *** **** ********* *****, ******** **. Most of the work was performed in February, 2022 and job 90% completed. The hole was never drilled in the countertop and spigot never installed to connect to the under-sink unit. I paid the invoice for the job but have never been able to access the purified water. That was nearly 2 years ago. I have contacted Animas Well Drilling through texts and emails to ***** and through their website portal numerous times. ***** has never returned my messages and from the website I get the following message: 'Your inquiry has been received. We will contact you within one business day.' The one time I was able to speak to ***** he told me he would arrange to drill the hole and hook up the unit to a spigot. That was many months ago. The job has not been completed, Animas won't return my messages/calls, and I don't know what to do.
It's a shame because ***** seems like a good guy and I don't like writing to you. He does good work and did what he said he would do up until the final 10% of the job. I just don't understand what's going on here. What am I missing?
Will you please help me with my situation. I would prefer not to write a complaint about *****'s business on the BBB website and instead just get this job completed.
      Will you please help me?

      Hi *****,

You have been a client of mine for many years, I'm sorry I have dropped the ball. When we serviced your treatment system, installed the 20" BB housing, and installed the reverse osmosis on November 12 2021, I told your caretaker/handyman that my contractor who normally drilled holes in granite countertops for these faucets was no longer doing this work and said I would try and find another company to drill the hole. When we left, the system was functional and we left enough tubbing underneath the sink for the faucet to come up into the sink. I had asked the caretaker to flush three tanks of water though the system before use, knowing there was company coming into town shortly. I texted with your caretaker/handyman on November 29 2021 and confirmed that I was unable to coordinate the hole getting drilled with another contractor and asked him to try to facilitate this work. I never heard back from him and made the assumption that the hole was drilled and that he installed the faucet. I'm sorry that you had problems with the website, I never received the messages. I'm not sure what happened but I'm looking into it. It wasn't until June 14 2024 that you texted me to service your water treatment system that I realized the faucet was not installed. You had asked in your text while I'm there to drill the hole in the countertop and if it cracked you wouldn't hold me responsible. You said I'm the best person to drill the hole and finish the job,  You gave me a timeframe between July 2 thru the 20th, my apologies I was unable the get to you within that timeframe. I should have communicated with you. I know I had said I would attempt to drill the hole. However, I still don't feel comfortable drilling into your countertop and would like to have this work contracted out. I will make additional phone calls to granite contractors to connect the two of you. I would like to get this resolved and make it right with you. Once the hole is drilled I can come up and install the faucet, change the filters on your reverse osmosis and service the other treatment equipment. I will not charge you for labor for the service call and the reverse osmosis filters. However, if there are any other parts needed for your other equipment there will be a charge for those parts. Thanks for responding to my text on January 18, I know your out of town until the middle of February. You have been a great client over the years and I hope this is a solution that you can feel good about! Let me know. Thanks

I previously submitted a complaint on Animas Well Drilling. This issue has been resolved to my satisfaction. In fact, the owner went out of his way to make it right. I very much appreciate that. I also submitted a review on his website expressing my appreciation. I don't know your policy on reviews, but I would like to remove my complaint since everything is good now. Thank you for getting involved as your participation really got their attention and moved things along to a happy conclusion. Kind regards, ****** *****
