I own a property at ************************************** within the Olde Mill Condominium Association. M&M ******************* manages this property. I have requested some basic information from M&M. Specifically asking the name, address and tax id for the ********************** as well as the number of units and how many are owner occupied. M&M has refused to provide this information to me even though I own the property and instead want me to pay over $100 to get this information from another source.

The homeowner is requesting documents as part of a real estate transaction. The homeowner was advised on several email inquiries that these requests are fulfilled as part of the sales process through the realtor/title process. THey were given instructions for their real estate professional to fulfil these requests. There has been no refusal on behalf of the *** to provide these if requested properly. Please note the complaint is not against M&M ******************* as the request is or Old Mill Condominiums. We are answering on behalf of Old Mill Condominiums as the managing Agent. M&M Property does not make the rules/decisions for this community.

I am rejecting this response because:  It shouldn't matter whether the property is being sold or not, as an owner I have a right to know this information and for the management company to try to profit from this request is outrageous considering I am paying their fees through my monthly $407 HOA fee and the least that they should provide is this basic information and not continue to nickel and dime people who have the right to this information.

As such I expect this company to provide the requested information or I hope BBB gives this place a negative rating.

    Sincerely,

M&M ******************* is the HOA manager of this property and works at the direction of the board. This complaint should be under the **** not the management firm. The complainant is requesting legal documents in relation to a sale of their home. While they can log into their HOA website to access all documents, the legal stamp dcuments required for a sale do have  a fee as allowed under *****. These fees are disclosed and the owner was properly notified. They can inquire with their licensed realtor, who can guide them in this process and request these documents. These documents are typically requested in closing by the title company and not the owner. It woudl appear they are being misguided and/or just dont want to pay fees for documents/services provided by 3rd parties.

The questions asked are related to a realestate transaction and these are provided in the form of a status letter. The owner was provided the correct method to request a status letter, which is typiclaly filfilled through the lendor, realtor or title company. As these are formal, legal documents the request shall be handled in this form.
