    I asked Junk King two days before I needed 4 items picked up if they could be at my house at or close to 8 a.m. so i would have room for my furniture delivery at about 9 a.m. i was told that I was the first stop that day.They called at about 8:30 a.m. to say they were on the way, they showed up 5 minutes after the furniture delivery arrived at about 9:10 a.m.They charged me $369.00 to pick-up 4 furniture items and a few small miscellaneous items. Price gouging plain and simple in my ********** phone call to explain how I felt about how poorly the scheduling was done and their high pricing fell on deaf ears in my opinion. They offered a $70 credit for my trouble which does not address the matter at all.I used another company to pick-up over twice as many furniture items (more cubic feet) in late 2024 and was charged very close to the same price.Junk King is the not a company I will ever use again. They care about the all mighty dollar much more than the *********** my opinion everyone's time and money would be better spent with another company.

    You were indeed the first stop that day, our appointments are scheduled in 2 hour arrival windows. Your appointment was scheduled as an 8-10am arrival window, and our team did arrive within that window. I was able to do some research, we have our teams take before/after photos of the trucks at every appointment. I do see that our team quoted and charged the correct price increment for the pickup. We provide quotes to all clients prior to service, for client approval, and estimates are absolutely free, and every client has the ability to decline the service at the time of the quote. You did agree to the quote prior to the removal, and we did charge as quoted. After you reached out to our ********************* We offered a $70 discount in good faith, as all client experiences are important to us. However you did tell us that unless we refunded you $119 you would be leaving a poor review. Unfortunately, that is not how we do business, and in this situation, we did process the $70 refund for you which brought your pricing down to our next lowest volume increment as discussed. I am sorry that you were unhappy the price for the service. We have made a good faith effort to alleviate your dissatisfaction. Should you need ******************** again, I would be happy to extend a 20% discount to a future visit.

    ****** cannot remember the other persons name & I apologize for that.They were excellent. I would highly recommend them for the quality of work that they took care of in no time with no fuss.

    We (as in all of us) tend to only/usually leave reviews when something goes wrong. I wanted to leave my own review because everything went right! We had a lot of waste but didn't want a dumpster for fear that it would damage our gravel driveway. I saw that Junk King could come haul away our stuff, and I sent a text on a Sunday because I was eager to get moving. I didn't expect a response until Monday, but sure enough, someone replied to my messages immediately on Sunday, answered every message within a few minutes, and I had an appointment set up right away. That was the first amazing thing. When they showed up a few days later, (sorry..I'm so bad with names), they showed me the estimate which was exactly in line with what the on-line estimator had predicted. So no surprises. Then they very quickly and neatly loaded up all my stuff. Even shook off my tarp into the truck, minimizing debris on my driveway. Thanks to the previous review (ahem), I knew to expect a service charge for using my credit card. As the former operator of a micro-business, I am very familiar with how credit card charges significantly affect earnings, so I don't at all mind paying extra for what is truly a 'convenience'. But I can see how it might annoy someone who didn't know about it in advance. They also mentioned it to me when I paid. All in all, a very good experience that saved us a lot of trouble. We will use Junk King again if the need arises.

    ***BE ADVISED***If you pay for services by DEBIT/CREDIT card, this company will add a "2% credit card convenience fee." This additional charge will NOT be shown on their invoice BUT the 'convenience fee' will be withdrawn...check your bank statement.

    *******,I have sent you a receipt from our credit card processor. Our internal invoicing system does not allow us to add a CC fee to the invoice portion. These two systems are separate, which is why it does not show up in the service invoice portion.
