    First and foremost, they never finished their job. They told me they could not return and they wiped out our remaining balance. There was one big item still in question though. Company did poor work on drainage below the front patio they installed for us. After the patio began to sink they improperly repaired it, however they did a poor job with the repair. I stated my concern to them and they said they would not leave me hanging. They verbally agreed to extend the warranty and I followed up via email that day with notes from our meeting. They never did give me a written extension although I believe we're still covered under their non-extended warranty and It should be covered regardless. There are also plants which are covered under warranty per their contract, but they have told me that the project is complete. I don't even know if they know what their contract says, but I have pointed it out to them and they are not responding.

    We wrote off the remaining balance in exchange for no further work being done, please let me know if you need any further information.

    Thank you,

    I am rejecting this response because:

    You wrote off our remaining balance because you said you couldn't complete the work because you had moved onto another job.  That left us to finish the remaining work which costs us time and money.  You did not provide an option for me on that decision that you made.  Regardless, that does not void the contract and the warranty your company provides for the work that is performed.

    Sincerely,

    Business Response

    Date: 07/08/2024

    I was made aware of the complaint recently and reached out to ******************* (Customer) via phone on 7/8/2024 at ******. I explained that I was recently informed of the complaint and issues and would be handling the resolution of the issue from this point forward. There are two issues of concern according to *****;

    1. The paver patio has settled near the front step and needs to be leveled and repaired.

    2. The spaces between a natural boulder retaining wall had a previous drainage issue that was corrected by Weston which fixed 90% of the prior issue, he would like this checked to see if there are remaining issues and possibly use vegetation to fill these spaces and prevent erosion.

    I will be meeting with the homeowner at his home tomorrow 7/9/2024 to verify that the items above are the only items requiring action and we will coordinate a crew the following week to conduct the repairs.

    Better Business Bureau:

    They are currently onsite making the necessary repairs.  Estimated completion is tomorrow.  Owner has agreed to extend warranty another year on front door patio, after repair is complete.

    Sincerely,
