    I discontinued trash service by this company due to continually rising costs. I found a local company for less. Before I switched companies, I called HBS on 8 August 2022 to discontinue service. My last pick up was scheduled for 10 August 2022, which did happen and they took their trash tote. Unfortunately, I had already mailed my payment to HBS for the quarterly bill before I decided to switch companies. The woman that I talked to at HBS on 8 August 2022 told me they would pro-rate the remaining balance and mail a refund check to me. By the first week of October 2022, I had not received the refund check, so I called HBS again. The woman I spoke to said she would take care of it and mail the check to me immediately. I still had not received the refund check by 2 November 2022, and called again. The woman I spoke to told me that the system says a check was NOT mailed for some reason and she would look into it with the ********************** She said they were unavailable at the time of my call and she would call me back later the same day. I never received that call, and now it is the following week. I don't know what else to do after calling 3 times to get the refund check. The quarterly bill amount that I paid on 15 August 2022 was $87.00 for the next 3 months and I should have received a refund of approximately $74.00. Can you please assist me? Thank you.

    We apologize for this issue here with the refund on the services not provided. We will be working with our accounting deptpartment as well as the customer directly to get this resolved with check in hand for the customer.     HBS has failed to fully empty my trash can for the last 3 months. They have completely skipped my house twice (and failed to respond to my emails). They barely tip the trash can into the truck, dump maybe 1 or 2 bags out and put it down over half filled with trash on the street and leave. It has been this way for months now. Trash is piling up in my garage as only 1 or 2 bags go a week at the current rate. It is unacceptable that I consistently pull my trash can into my house over half full. The trash is not crammed into the can, it is not wedged or stuck. They just refuse to let the can hang over the truck for even a second.

    This trash service constantly leaves trash behind after picking up. It falls out of the can and onto the street. They just leave it there. Today was my final straw. For some reason they didnt take one of my cans. 1/3 of the contents were left on the street. This is an ongoing issue.
