    I hired AirRadon to mitigate the radon in my home. AirRadon, provided me with an estimate of $1250 for the fan and $530 for a vapor barrier. AirRadon installed the fan and vapor barrier on April 18, 2023. However, they did not install either of these to the ***** (****************************************). Below is what they did not do to the standard. Only the fan itself would meet the standard. - Outside PVC was not schedule 40.- Vapor barrier was most likely not at least 6mm thick. It was black plastic sheeting from ************ Vapor barrier was not sealed in the crawl space in any way. It was just spread out over the dirt in the crawl space.- PVC was not used between the fan and the vapor barrier.- Almost no dirt was dug out under the concrete pad in the basement. A drill was used to loosen the dirt instead.- A manometer and alarm was not installed.- PVC was not used to go into the concrete pad where the dirt should have been dug out.

    I am rejecting this response because: Returning all materials undamaged is an impossible ask. We did not ask for a full refund. We asked for a partial refund since we are using the radon fan.

    Response:
    In the original complaint ********************************* stated that the external piping connected to the fan unit was non-compliant (not sch 40) and ********* stated that total dispute was for $1780.00. The actual charge for the job was $1750.00. This is why I said if all material is returned, I will issue a full refund of $1750.00.
    In response to ********* asking for a partial return,********* has not stated a dollar total of what she expects.

    I am rejecting this response because: Nothing was offered by AirRadon. An additional $30.00 was given in cash for additional flexible pipe material. A total of $1780 was paid to AirRadon. I am not asking for a specific amount because no materials will be returned. I asked for a refund of labor and materials other than the fan since we are still using the fan.
