      They are a solid company who worked with us well. We rented for a little over a year and while the apartment wasn't necessarily the best, for the price it was well worth it.

      I rented an apartment owned by Investment Housing Corp I for six years. Overall it was a good experience (nothing terrible and nothing spectacular). Pros: Landlord was usually prompt in responding to emails/phone calls.Neighbors in building were mostly quiet and courteous. Maintenance requests were almost always handled in a timely manner. Maintenance staff were polite and friendly. Cons:Rent increases were communicated in a less than professional manner (a note taped to your door at night just before your lease is set to renew). Some repairs were never done (a window that would not lock for six years). Air conditioning was a joke (the unit was far too small to cool an apartment and was held in place with nails, screws, and pieces of cut up door frame)The heat died multiple times in the winter and sometimes for days before being repaired (however the landlord did provide space heaters in the interim). Mixed:Received security deposit back, but without any of the interest it should have accrued over the six years that it was held by the landlord.If you are planning to live in the ****** area and need simple and affordable housing (by ******** standards of "affordable") these may fit your needs.
