    Our emergency situation involves having to move away from Fort Collins with a 5 days notice.

    We are moving to Broomfield and there are no Genesis gyms in that area.

    We asked Genesis to let us out of the contract that had 2 more monthly payments left ($204). Because we literally will not able to use their facilities due to being so far away from Fort Collins.

    We have documentation to prove our situation. We offered to show it to them.

    They didn't even try to contact their overhead to get a resolution. We have our email correspondence with them to prove how unprofessionally they treated us.

    We never complained when their equipment was not working or when we weren't able to use the hot tub because it was out of service. Or when they never restocked the towels.

    They told us that because the contract is a legal document, there is nothing they can do. Well we know for a fact that legal documents can be ammended, because this is literally what happened with our lease. Our landlady ammended the lease with a new legal document that overrides it and lets us off our obligation to pay her the rent for the month of June.

    This is a health club membership we have emails going back and forth since August cancelling a membership. This month we are again charged and finally get a reply they are cancelling it. No money will be credited back for any of the months. They do not have a gym in Texas so a 60 day free pass isn’t going to help. My son moved from Colorado in May.
