      Worked with Cool Ducts through our home warranty. They came out and fixed half of the problem (low water shut off switch), but decided that replacing the ignition switch was too much work and called home warranty saying he was leaving the job unfinished. We were already without hot water for a week and now who knows how long until we get hot water back.

      I attempted a repair through the warranty company I was subcontracted with... *** **** is not my customer. He is a first American home warranty customer... Once I put in the part that I arrived with and the unit was still not working. I was not going to dive deeper into a repair I was unfamiliar with and break the customers machine. I reached out to first American and said I don't want to do something I'm unfamiliar with and they are completely understanding. If the customer has complaints, the complaints should go towards his warranty company. Or I mean I guess I can come back and tinker around with something I'm unfamiliar with and break it and end up being the bad guy even more.

      I am rejecting this response because: the reason it wouldn't start back up is because you never turned the water back on; you cannot dry start a boiler. We were able to get it back up and running ourselves with less knowledge than you.
