    In 25 years of hotel stays, this is the WORST I've ever seen! It's filthy, unsafe, and completely falsely advertised....in conjunction with unethical business practices! (and charged $138.21...confirmation number 885421159)

    When I arrived (8/19/23) for my "stay," the room I was assigned looked NOTHING like the pictures portrayed on the website. Appears to be in a longterm living with homeless and criminals (passed man with a knife in the parking lot, and there were plenty of people without teeth wandering around). There is NO SECURITY to the building (as the door where you are supposed to insert your hotel card is disarmed and ANYONE FROM THE STREET can come and go).

    The carpet in the hallways appeared not to have been vacuumed for months (if ever). There was crushed orange cereal-looking food crunched into the carpet. A HORRIBLE odor permeated the halls (of body odor, microwave meals, and mold).

    When I finally got to my room, it looked NOTHING like the rooms advertised in the picutures. There was NO CARPET, the room was lined with unplugged lamps and mismatched/beat up furniture that looked like it had been picked up by the side of the road at a "FREE" pile which had sat in the rain for a few days. Furniture had scuffs and marks all over tables, stains on fabric, and was dingy and old. In addition, there was a layer of sticky grime on everything. I inspected the bed/mattress and found BROWN crusted material on mattress (appearing like boogers or bed bugs or both!!!!! yuck yuck yuck). The fire alarm and ceiling had orange spackles all over them (grime or fly dustings?) There was liquid on linolium (urine?). Dust and hair everywhere. Sliding glass door did not look secure.

    This was the filthiest, most unclean, unsafe, UNACCEPTABLE thing I'd ever seen.

    I went back to the front desk (20 minutes after checking in) to ask for a refund. I was then given the run-around about how it had to be "approved by corporate"...who still hasn't resolved this 6 days later!)

    We booked 4 nights in 2 separate bookings. July 22nd and 23rd and then July 24th and 25th in 2023. We stayed one night on the 22nd and then left on the 23rd. We left because the placy was filthy, broken down and felt unsafe. In our room 122, the mattresses were stained as shown in attached. There was mold under the sink as shown. Outer doors were propped open so anyone could come in. No breakfast was served even though advertised on the sign and on websites. The guest laundry facility was out of order and appeared to have been for sometime. There was no working hot tub as advertised. Many broken other items throughout the hotel.

    On 3/29/2023 I paid $295.96 for a week stay in room 203 at the Clarion/Quality Inn (same hotel) plus a $100 cash deposit, which I attached the receipt for. I went to retrieve my $100 cash deposit as promised at check out and they lost it. Now not only have i returned to discuss the matter, no one will call me back.
    Now that this had cost me time, gas, time off of my job, I’d like the full refund of $295.96 plus my $100. These people are failing to communicate but they are keeping money they have under a deposit policy. Please advise.
