We had an awesome experience with Foothills Painting. Our project manager, *****, coordinated our job and frequently touched base with us and our painting crew, from start to finish. We loved our painting crew, ****, **** and ******. They did amazing work, including prep, painting, and clean up and were a friendly presence around our home. We couldnt be happier about how our exterior project turned out and we highly recommend Foothills Painting.

Foothills Painting deserves no stars. I had a townhouse that needed painting and through my management company they went to Foothills Painting. I signed a contract with them for a townhouse that I rent. The contract states Sherwin Williams paint to be used. It took them over 3 months to finish the job and never put back towel bars, switch plates and closet bars. I had to get a handyman to finish their job. They had taken so long that I ended up having to sell the property. The job should have taken 7 to 10 days to finish. The buyer wanted to know the colors that were used. I called Foothills Painting to find out they substituted Behr paint from Home Depot rather than Sherwin Williams as was stated in the contract. I doubt I am not the first that got a bait and switch pulled on him. There was suppose to be a base coat that was to be applied which I doubt they did. WARNING; if you have a rental property you better check the paint cans and sit and watch them, they can’t be trusted. There are a lot of reputable painting companies out there, this is not one of them.

Hi William, thank you for bringing this to our attention. We did not use **** paint. The previous color that was used on your walls was a **** color, so we had ******* ******** match this color as you wanted to keep same colors in the home. We are contracted with ******* and get better pricing from them, so we do not use **** unless explicitly asked for it by the homeowner. Our owner will be reaching out to you to discuss the other issues you stated; we're sorry this is the experience you had and want to get this solved with you as soon as possible. Thank you William!

We have since spoken to **** and have attempted to explain to him what actually happened with his paint project. He understood and thanked us for the call. He said he isn't sure how to remove reviews but would "think about it" and see what he could do.

*******, our owner has reached out to discuss your concerns and looks forward to speaking with you. First of all, we apologize for all that you had to go through in getting your townhouse fixed up after how your tenants left it.We are also sorry about the miscommunication the new owner had with our Office Manager regarding the paint brand and color. We did not use **** paint. We did, however, use a **** color for your walls, as it is the color used on most interior projects your property management company manages. ******************************* has this color (PPU7-8 BAJA), along with many other **** or *************************** or other paint brand codes in their system so they can match it for buyers. This is where the miscommunication was with the new homeowner and our Office Manager. We have a contract with ******************************* and so our pricing and incentives are all in favor of buying their paints over ****. **** actually makes a very good product, but it doesn't make financial sense for us to "bait and switch" paints. We also have pictures to prove this that we have emailed you. Although we understand the frustration in a long remodel, we do feel it necessary to point ou,t for context, the painting did indeed only take about 8 days. The project taken on by your property management company that took months was primarily due to extensive wall repair needed in order to fix the damage from the marijuana growing operation your renters had set up in the basement. Much of our time was spent waiting on the drywall and mitigation companies to finish their work. We unfortunately had to come back at the end to finish once all the moisture and airflow issues were fixed from the poorly set up HVAC unit installed by your tenants, among many other issues. As a courtesy, we did not add trip charges for needing to come out multiple times over the course of 4 months. Additionally, we took pictures after the work which show wallplates put back on. We have sent you photos of this as well. We don't have photos of the towel and closet bars, but do believe these were reinstalled when the wall plates were reinstalled. If they weren't, we sincerely apologize for this oversight and will ensure it does not happen again. We also are open to refunding you a portion of your project amount if you had to put these back on yourself/hired someone else to do so. Please give us a call back at your earliest convenience to remedy this situation.
