      I wish I was writing a happier review... However, I am very upset with the outcome of my business with the Dog Pawlour. I dropped off my Golden Doodle to have her winter coat trimmed, so she could be more comfortable in the bipolar Colorado spring weather. I described what I wanted, and they said ok. They mentioned possible matte removal in an area around her collar, but that they would send me a waiver if it came to that point. Four hours later, no waiver signed, I picked up a completely shaven and emotionally distressed pup that I hardly recognized. They claimed they had to do matte removal, but never asked my permission, nor sent me the waiver to agree to this service. My poor pup was covered in razor burn, her private area was very inflamed, her paw pads bright red, under her ears bleeding, the list goes on. A few weeks later, she now has huge scabs on her cheeks, ears, nose, paws, and tail. As my service dog, I was unable to take her to places I needed her with her coat and feet in the condition they were. I try my best to support local businesses as much as possible, but take my word for it when I say find another local groomer.
