Dec 6th, the left front wheel collapsed during a turn in a parking lot.Dec 9th, I contact **** at Big O Tires and ask him if this is something he can assist with.He requests to have the car towed to their shop to evaluate the scope of the damage. **** informs me the damage didnt look bad. We ask for the repair cost to make the car safe and reliable to drive. **** quote me $1,340.Dec 12th, we take the car on a test drive and notices that the steering is very tight. We are told this is normal. We pay a $1,880 repair bill and then drive the car to work. That same evening when leaving from work the left front wheel (same wheel) collapses during a turn at a relatively slow speed. We contact a towing company to have the car towed back over to Big O. The tow truck driver let us know the ball joint was the cause of the failure. It looked like an old ball joint he pointed out and not a new part as one would have expected.Dec 13th, I let **** know what the truck driver shared with us about the ball joint. **** agreed the ball joint was compromised and apologized it wasnt replaced during the first visit.Dec 14th, we are told the car has been repaired and we pick up the car.Dec 15th, the car stalls after driving just a few hundred feet. The front axle is no longer connected with the transmission/engine.On Dec 16th, the car is towed back over to Big O. We're told the technician didn't completely pop in place the driveshaft. Again, we're told the car is deemed safe and reliable to drive. On the drive home it is apparent that there are several major issues with the car.Dec *****st, I have numerous conversations with both **** and *****. I let them know the car is completely unsafe and unreliable to drive. I asked them if they wanted the car back for further evaluation. They let me know that wouldn't be necessary.I make several requests to be contacted by a senior manager.Jan 7th, per ***** a senior manager won't be contacting me after all.

The owner from ***** tire called me more than 3 weeks ago. I believe the name is *** *************!
After I explained to him what kind of experience we had Big-O, he indicated to me that he would willing to pay me back half of the money I spent at his business. He let me know that he would be getting back to either by phone or email with a proposal.

I havent heard anything back from him since our initial and only conversation. I have called his cell number, but he didnt pick up.

At this point Im not interested in any store credit, but I would like to have my money back.

    Thank you

    Thanks ****,

I dont have any further documentation I wish to provide at this time.

At the same time I dont want to the close the case until Big-O tire has responded to the complaint and a resolution has been reached. Have your office heard anything back from Big-O? And if so what are they saying. How do I even know that my complaint was read by the owner of *****? Have you spoken with him? If the complaint was sent by email maybe it went straight to a spam box and nobody saw it?
    Sincerely,

    *** *******-*******

Big O Tires performed a tire rotation & then one of my wheels came off while driving. Causing thousands in repairs & other costs. My car was either in a shop or undrivable for 4 months. When it occurred Big O acted as though they didn't know how it could possibly happen. They even went as far as to ask if I had any enemies that could have tampered with my car. A sign it was caused by someone & not by driving over something. Their lack of concern of the situation was alarming. The fact that myself or others could have been seriously injured when the wheel came off was not even a thought of theirs. I got the run around even though all signs pointed to over torqueing of the bolts. Aside from the body damage, I needed a new wheel & while that was supposed to be ordered, my spare was to be put on. Instead they released my car twice with the shredded wheel on it. The manager, Danny, seemed to not be aware that they were to order a new wheel. Clearly the service advisor when I brought it in was trying to keep this from management. I then took it to the car's dealership to check their work. This is where I found out there was more damage to the car despite Big O saying there was none. When the wheel came off, the car made contact with the ground & dragged. For Big O to say there was no damage from that was another untruth. The dealership also found the studs welded in the wheel bearing. An indication when Big O put the bad wheel back on, that they welded parts to make sure it stayed on. Not safe. Big O made my car unsafe numerous times. They continued to be negligent each time my car was there. Due to this, I had to pay thousands towards vehicle work, rentals, rides and deliveries. After posting a Google review, they called once and left 1 message. They then replied to the review claiming they have called multiple times and have left multiple messages. Not true. I have called the numbers (at least 4x) they provided and even sent an email and have not heard back from the GM.
