      I had my first preventative care visit here, completing the thorough pre-appointment surveys prior. I had been experiencing some increased heartburn and decided to mark that as an issue on the survey. In my appointment, my doctor brought up heartburn and we took a few minutes to discuss ways to manage it. A couple months after my appointment, I received a charge for $126.50. I thought it had to be an error, because my annual preventative care visit should be fully covered. After calling the billing office four times, with varying answers each time on the charge, I was told that discussing the heartburn wasn't covered under "preventative care". They billed me for two appointments for the same visit, a preventative care visit and out-patient visit. Clearly just milking the money that my insurance covers for a preventative visit, and then charging me for the out-patient visit. I have never felt so screwed by the healthcare system. They've lost my trust for caring about my overall health. I am going to be changing clinics and hope nobody else experiences any situation similar to this.
