I would like to commend the honesty and integrity of the owner, ***** of his company. After a hail storm, I found an ad from them and called them out for an inspection. ***** was very thorough in explaining everything to me and exactly what he did to inspect his roof. He could have easily told me there was damage to the roof, however he was very honest and told me my roof was in perfect condition and needed no repairs. As a single mom, I appreciate not being taken advantage of and having an honest contractor. Thank you G3! You have earned my future business after the next Colorado hail storm!

I fully acknowledge that I terminated the contract well after the 72 hour deadline, but it was mainly after an accumulation of red flags. I also freely admit I was not a careful consumer I am moving across the country and have been putting all of my energy and thought into that, not getting a new roof (it started out as just gutters). However, no work was done and they stated in an email that no materials had yet been ordered. Red flags:-Their representative (I believe the owner?) became hostile and aggressive when I mentioned that I wanted to get estimates/assessments from other contractors, which is standard. -Their glowing reviews on BBB all disappeared and were replaced by a 1-star complaint about their aggressive selling approach sometime between me reading them and today. They have no positive reviews anywhere else (just the same complaint about aggressive selling)-They wanted all the insurance money up front (but backpedaled when I said that was unacceptable, even as they said it was totally normal - no one else agreed with this statement, not my lawyer, my realtor, a respected general contractor or anyone on the internet). Given all that I was uncomfortable. I will be living in another state by the time the work is done. I cannot risk a company I don't trust. Because the cancellation was after the 3 day regret period, they are charging me over $5,400. Avoid this company.

Hello ************, First, we are very disappointed that we had to enforce the cancellation of contract terms and conditions. This is not something that we enjoy doing. Despite our multiple attempts to explain the insurance proceeds contract to you, it did not seem to click. The deposit amount is set forth by your insurance provider. This is called an *** amount. As stated on the phone in the multiple attempts to try to explain the process to you, *** proceeds is NOT the full insurance amount. You, also, are responsible for your deductible, which is collected with the *** deposit. Collecting deductibles is mandated by Colorado State Law (C.R.S 6-22-101 to 6-22-105), and the *** deposit amount is dictated by your insurance scope of work. The remaining funds are held by your insurance company until the work is completed. We were more than willing to work with you, to ease your concerns, despite the clear language in our contracts for deposit amounts, and insurance proceeds, you still decided to cancel the contract. We are very sorry that you decided to shop around after signing a legal binding contract with us. We also would like to note to you that we did have multiple hours invested in to your job, running your adjuster appointment, permits and licensing fees, and other office overhead that went into your project up until the day you canceled the contract. We wish you the best on your move across country, and hope that you find a contractor that does quality work, and assists in making the renovation process easier, and less stressful.

Yesterday G3 Roofing and Exteriors was going door to door soliciting. We have a no soliciting sign right next to our doorbell with an additional much larger sign asking that the no soliciting sign be respected. There were two men at our door and it looked like one was training the other. He reads our sign, rings the doorbell and then proceeds to tell his trainee, "I usually ignore signs like that. A lot of times I'll say 'Oh I'm sorry. I rang the doorbell before I saw it but...'" He then says, "we're not soliciting because we're not selling something, we're offering a service."Sir. You are SELLING a service. Unless your services are free? You are soliciting your services to us. And we very clearly do not want to be sold to. No. Thank. You. I find this type of behavior unacceptable in companies. It is an instant turn off when someone doesn't respect my privacy, my time, and my home right off the bat. I also generally speaking do not trust any kind of door to door salespeople. If your company is any good I will be recommended through someone I know or I will find you myself on ****** or in a reputable local home magazine. Even a mailer of some kind is preferable to this type of sales. At least it isn't wasting my time and I appreciate the effort to market to new areas respectfully through the appropriate channels.Personally I would not trust a company that is literally training their employees to ignore their customers because they think they know better. This is my private home. You are on my property. The blatant disrespect for my time and agency as a homeowner ensures that I will not only never be using your services, I will also recommend that anyone I know avoid using you. Including my neighbors.

We sincerely apologize for the lack of respect to your No Soliciting sign. This is not how we would normally train new employees to door knock. Our door knocking is a way to offer a roof inspection, which is a free service to people that allow us to inspect their roofs. Our inspections are a free service that 100s of homeowners are thankful for receiving from us.We also have many 5 star reviews on ****** that we truly deliver a good experience to our customers. We understand the manner in which this was stated on your ring door bell was not appropriate and we again sincerely apologize. Thank you for taking the time to let us know.
