    ** Dec. 2022, I found ADWoodcraft, LLC through *********** We only spoke via email to see if they could make a bedframe from a pic. They said yes so I sent them a pic plus ordered a tall dresser & 2 nightstands on *********** They gave me a price & said they could make it to my specifications. I ordered the pieces in Feb. 2023. They confirmed the order, ************************ I asked for pics as they progressed.Early Apr 2023, I asked for a status. They said end of April & would contact to set up delivery. I again asked for pics or if I could come down to look at the pieces before delivery but didn't get a response.Around 4/19/23, I requested to see the pieces on 4/23/23 but was told they weren't ready.On 4/30/23, I was told the pieces were ready to be delivered & we set up a delivery. I gave them times & dates I was available, asked for pictures & gave her my cell to discuss but didn't get a call or response.On 5/4/23, I tried to confirm they were delivering on 5/6/23. They finally sent pictures when I asked again but the bedframe was nothing like what I sent them. They said they couldn't do the arch in my picture & didn't see the details. They agreed to try to fix it to better match the picture.On 5/6/23 the headboard still wasn't anything like my pictures so I told them I wouldn't accept it. They delivered the rest but I stayed out of the way then someone wanted them to move their vehicle because they were blocking a ********** felt rushed & didn't get a chance to inspect the furniture. She gave me a receipt then left & said she would be back 5/27/23 with the rest of my order.I found very cheaply & poorly made pieces over the next few days & tried to get them to pick up the *************** my money but she said when I signed the receipt, all sales were final. That is the first time they mentioned all sales were final & I never signed the receipt nor did I check the box to confirming I inspected the furniture.

    I sent pictures of the pieces. I was able to deliver on the Saturday. She did not say can I come before then to see them. 
    I arrived carried them up and set everything up. It took ** over 30 minutes to do this. During that time she could have looked over everything. She saw me put the drawers in and nothing was said. 
    she showed me the picture of the bed, we discussed that. She then paid. While that was happening she said I want a bench. We talked about that. This caused me to forget to have her sign the sheet.

    to me I felt we were done. I had been there for about 45 minutes. I was not going to stay for lunch. She did not say anything else, I felt my time was done.

    she sent me an email on Wednesday to complain. I was out of town and had a hard time responding to her. I am still out of town.

    I will refund partial payment. When I pick it up. I do have to drive 100 each way and that costs money. So that is 400 miles.

    I am rejecting this response because:  I am firm on accepting a refund of 75% of my $1066 I paid for the poorly made furniture that I want returned to her: 

    1.  Furniture barely has one coat of paint and looks like a dirty chaulkboard instead of all black;

    2.  There are Large gaps around drawers so you can see the drawer slides;

    3.  Unless drawers are pushed into the "locked position", drawers slide completely open;

    4.  Tops of furniture are only attached in the corners;

    5.  None of the furniture is sanded smooth but is still really rough to the touch;

    6.  There are gaps in the furniture backs to the sides; and

    7.  Drawer pulls are too long for the drawers and swivel in place and cannot be tightened any further.

    if she had let me come down to see them before they were delivered, I could have saved her the 400 miles.  It took 45 minutes for the furniture to be delivered because I live on the third floor!

    I never offered her lunch and she kept going on an on about the slides the drawers were on (they are the same used in office filing cabinets).

    There isn't anything on her website about a warranty, return policy, dispute resolution or that all sales are final!

    I have offered $712 which is 75% of the $950.00. The furniture cost. 
    the drawer slides are ball bearing slides for furniture. Not sure what the issue with that is. The paint is ***** black paint for furniture. It has 2 coats on the pieces. It is a satin finish, not shiny. 

    I never said you cant look at it before we brought it up. We arrived she said do you want to see where it is going. I said yes. Then she stayed inside while we carried it up.

    the receipt was signed by her that said your signature is your approval and all sales are final. 

    I have told you we will pick up up on Saturday May 27th at 10:00. We will have a check for her for $712.00. I think she should still pay the $100 for delivery,

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have been in further communication with the business.

    We have agreed that they will pickup the furniture at 10a on 5/27 and bring with them a check refunding $724.50 (75% of total cost $1066 minus the delivery fee of $100).
