I hired Devons K9 training and paid him $600.00 on July 1st, for six at home training sessions. He completed two of the sessions. The training was not working for my dog and I had asked for help from ***** which he did not provide. The training he provided was minimal, he had no other solution if treats could not be used (and my dog cant eat treats without becoming sick) and he scared my dog making him even more aggressive by using a puffer in his face. He was impatient with the dog and with myself and my son. After waiting for ***** to respond to help us, I decided to cancel any additional training and asked for a refund of the unused sessions which were four at $100 each, so $400.00. ***** was very angry and rude to me in text but did say he would refund the money and mail a check over a week ago. The check never came. When questioned by text, he claims it was returned in the mail however I am receiving all my mail just fine. I asked to come to his office to pick it up. He would not let me and gave strange reasons as to why. I drove to the address on his business website only to find its empty and no business is there. I believe I am being scammed now. I questioned him again by text and he gave very contradictory answers as to why the business isnt located there anymore but refused to provide me a legitimate business location. He did not respond to me when I tried to schedule a meeting time at my house for him to refund me in cash which he is the first to offer but did not follow through. The phone number he gave me and is texting me on is different than what is on his ******** page. If this is not a scam it is extremely poor business practices. I want my $400.00 refund for services not used/delivered and to be done with this person. Thank you.

************************     Please see the attached review I left on ****** reviews. ***** responded again saying a check was in the mail. Yet I have not received payment of any kind from him as of 8-9-2024. I am not asking for anything unfair, only what should be returned to me for unused services. Devons K9 Training site does not say that there are no refunds. I did seek legal advice however it was a conflict of interest since that firm had represented ***** once before in another complaint against him. I have not yet sought out any other legal advice. I did find that Devons license with the Secretary of State is out of date as well.

Full payment of the $400.00 owed to me by Devons K9 Training, as a refund of unused training sessions, was received by mail of a cashiers check payable to me, ***************************, today. I cashed it and am paid in full. Thank you to the Better Business Bureau for their time and assistance.
