**** lied to my face. Beware of Scotty's Complete Car Care Center. I took in my 2003 jeep wrangler to have the A/C fixed. They called me and told me would cost $270.00 so I said ok. Then they called and said it was ready. My wife and I went to pick it up and I gave **** a $40.00 off couponed he said that he would not take it he had already took off $70.00. Then he add it to the ticket while we were paying for it we paid $270.14. On the ticket they said that the Schrader Valves leaked. They replaced them. When I got back home the wife said that is not cooling right. The first of July I called them and took it on the 15th. They called me after 9am and said there was a leak from a rub in one of the lines and they cannot get so they will have to take off and have it welded a NAPA auto and it would cost $250.00. I told them no I would be down to get it. When I got there I had **** Come out to the jeep and show me where it was leaking. He said it was the line by battery so we went down the line and the only place it was rubbing was where a rubber line was at. When I went out to the jeep it was right where we parked it. I do not think that they even looked at it. When I got home I look and it the line had not been cleaned off. So then I looked at the Schrader Valves the caps were dirty they new ones come with new caps so I do not know it they chanced them or not. I looked on you tub and a guy said that you need to chick the a/c low pressure switch so went out and the composer was not turning I did it how he did and the switch is bad. I would not believe any thing that **** said. He does not honor there coupons.
Up date .I well be turning this in to the Better Business Bureau® they charged me $270.14 and did nothing. No RESPONSE FROM THE OWNER THIS SHOWS YOU THAT HE KNOWS WHAT IS GOING AND IT OK WITH THEM.

    Business Response

    Date: 10/17/2024

    Thank you for bringing your
concerns to our attention, and we appreciate the opportunity to respond. At
Scotty’s Complete Car Care, we take all feedback seriously, and we strive to
ensure every customer feels heard and receives the best service possible.

    Regarding the work performed
on your 2003 Jeep Wrangler, we’d like to clarify the situation based on the
details from your invoice and subsequent visit:

    1. First Repair: During your
first visit, we identified that the Schrader Valves were leaking, and we
replaced them to restore your air conditioning system’s functionality. As
stated on all invoices related to air conditioning repairs, **A/C systems are sealed
systems lubricated by oil that is carried throughout the system by the freon.
Any time the system is not functioning, the oil does not circulate properly,
which can cause damage and failure to other components that may not be
detectable at the time of the initial repair. Scotty’s can only carry warranty
on parts replaced and is not responsible for failure of other components in the
system after being recharged and operated.**

    2. Second Inspection: After
your follow-up call, we inspected the vehicle again and found a leak in the
line between the condenser and evaporator due to a rub in the line. We offered
to have this line repaired or welded by a third-party service, but you declined
the repair at that time. While we understand your frustration with the
continued A/C issues, this new leak was not present or detectable during your
    first visit.

    3. Coupons and Pricing:
Regarding your concern with the coupon, we regret any misunderstanding that may
have occurred during checkout. We applied a discount of $70.00 to your total
ticket, and this discount exceeded the $40.00 coupon value you presented. We
are sorry if this was not communicated clearly at the time.

    At Scotty's, we pride
ourselves on transparency and thorough service. Our team, including Rick,
performed the necessary repairs and inspections based on the information
available during your visits. We always aim to ensure the best possible
outcomes for our customers, and we are happy to further discuss this situation
with you to ensure that all concerns are addressed.

Please feel free to reach out
if you have any additional questions or would like to revisit the issue. We are
    here to help.

    Sincerely,
    Scotty’s Complete Car

Had my Trk in there care for a month, wile they fixed, it. Within this time they failed to lock my truck, as a result of there irresponsibility. My trk was gone through during there time . The Service manager **** ****. Said said I basically was foolish to leave anything in my trk . Saying it was not there not responsible for anything. If the trk had been properly secured at night. Like any professional place would have done. I would not be out apx $1500 worth of items. With no chance of getting any back. There is no posting of any sign saying not responsible for items left in vehicle, in there shop. Nore are you informed of this .
A civil case will be brought to the courts
Seeking damages and court and attorney fees.

    Business Response

    Date: 09/17/2024

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we appreciate the opportunity to respond to your concerns. At Scotty’s Complete Car Care, we take the security of our customers' vehicles and belongings very seriously. I want to address your concern regarding your vehicle’s security while it was in our care.

Upon hearing your complaint, we immediately took action by reviewing all of our available security footage and communicating with the local police department. Unfortunately, we were unable to find any evidence to support a break-in or any security breach involving your vehicle during the time it was in our possession.

We encourage all of our customers to remove personal belongings from their vehicles when dropping them off for service, as we cannot guarantee the safety of items left inside. This practice is consistent with industry standards, and we strive to communicate this policy to our customers, though we understand that additional signage and communication may help avoid misunderstandings in the future.

We sincerely regret that you have experienced this situation, but based on the information available to us, we have found no negligence on our part.

We value your feedback and take it seriously, and we are always open to improving our services and communication with customers.

    Sincerely,
    ******

Set an appointment for Scotty's to: replace carburetor (I provided new unit, metering rods, springs, & jets); convert my ignition system to electrical (I provided new kit purchased from ******** ********** for this vehicle a 100% match); change the grease in the rear end and use a special anti-slip grease at it is a positive-trac); and convert my fuel system in my 1968 Plymouth Barracuda classic car to a electric pump (I provided a new pump); and finally install the correct header gasket as I installed the wrong one and installed it myself in 1 hour.
My complaint: they did not know what they were doing, took on a job that the screwed up and would not fix or listen to what I requested. My requests:
    1) Install carburetor & jet it for 7000-feet as I travel in Colorado, they took out the factory primaries and swapped them with the secondaries. Wrong and if they new what they were doing they could have used the correct metering rods and springs that I provided to resolve it - or properly jet it for high altitude as the carburetor comes from the factory set at sea level. Therefore this carburetor runs rich and the mechanic damaged my accelerator pump. A new carburetor messed up and installed wrong - they ignored my request.
    2) Did not install my electric ignition system and blamed bad parts - they did not know how to do it.
    3) Use the correct grease in the rear end - they did not and could provide no evidence of such.
    4) Improperly installed an electric fuel pump and charge me 120% mark up (when I asked the service tech he said he did not know the mark up - he lied once of a few times - his name Matt N***), I requested that the pump be located in the back below the fuel tank on the main rail. Instead they mounted improperly with the filter in the back of the pump (not the front as spec) and next to the header ignition source and a rubber line adjacent to fan belt with hot wire attached. Matt said it was perfect and then attacked me verbally so I left site.
