    Grand Events was hired to provide rental services for a wedding which included setup, take down, rentals, and delivery. On 6/7/24 Grand Events was supposed to deliver the rental and setup at 10:00am and be completed by 4:00pm prior to the rehearsal dinner. At 12:30pm, the owner, *******, finally called to let us know he was running late but would be there shortly and assured us that he would be done before 4:00pm. They finally arrived at 2:00pm and were not completed until well after the event started. Halfway through setup his crew got into an argument with him and they all quit. They did not put out the rental tables and chairs until after we showed them the receipt indicating we paid for setup. They quickly put the tables, chairs and lighting up, because it was such a poor job we had to redo it the night before the wedding. The linens they provided us with were stained and had old food on them and they gave us the incorrect linens and tables. We reached out the ******* the day of the wedding and he apologized stating it would be corrected. When ******* picked up the rental on June 10th at 11:00am he said he would reimburse us 50% of the total rental price because of the terrible service we received. The rental total was $4163.20. Since June 10th, we have contacted him by email and phone to follow up on the reimbursement he promised, but he has not returned our emails or calls.
