The date this began was September 1, 2022 and was to be completed September 1, 2022. I gave him a check fir 50% for 2025.86$.
September 3 they finally finished and initially it looked ok.. a few hours later after walking on it the seams began showing and I began stepping on staples and going up the stairs you can see all of the horrible mistakes they came back to fix the mistakes but you can still seams and bubbles on the stairs and now indents where every staple is. They said the carpet and stairs did not get along. They did not fix the seams in the carpet.
It’s technically not finished because they never came back to do the transition pieces. They said they had to order the pieces and would need 14 days.
Oh part of my contract included stripping my deck.. 900$z I told him no to that because of the way he did not do this in a timely manner.
Jacob asked for his other 50% 2025.86 so I gave it to him not thinking. And hadn’t noticed the mistakes yet. September 24 I message Jacob asking fir 900$ refund since I over paid because of the deck portion of the contract.. and asked when they would be back to finish the job. He did not answer me. Instead he blocked me from communication. I’m now stuck with a bad carpet job and out 900)z I’m selling my home and people are going to see this horrible job.
The 2 gentleman scratched my freshly painted house bringing carpet in before cutting it then taking the roll back out. They placed the carpet in the floor downstairs in many pieces and left many seams showing and gaps. The stairs were done incorrectly. There were bare spots. There were pots showing wood of the stairs showing. The staples could be seen. There were cuts and tears. Seams could be seen. .
