I had Park Place Interiors install (2021) a LVP August 4, 2021 (day paid last invoice). Days after I had the owner, Chris come over to address concerns I had with the flooring. He said to give it time and the issues would resolve itself. Late March I had a friend who is a contractor come over a look at my flooring because the issues were getting worse - click and lock seams separating, can see sub floor, space between subfloor and LVP significant, cracks in LVP, etc. Park Place Interiors and I have been working on finding a resolution and I wish to document my complaint. We are still in the process of working things out, but it has taken a lot of time for myself, my contractor friend, and the representatives from Park Place Interiors to come to a solution. I wish to keep this dialogue between myself and Park Place Interiors amiable and out of the courts. Today **** ****, who is an installer from Park Place Interiors looked at my flooring, took pictures, and is hopefully going to speak with the owner. My next step is suing for satisfaction but hopefully it does not come to that.

    Clay,

Mrs. ***** had Park Place come and install ridged core plank that she purchased from Park Place. After ***** ***** came out and measured, he determined that there was underlayment in the kitchen and master bath and utility closet . Mr. ***** gave Mrs ***** 3 options 1: remove underlayment and would be an additional cost and needed to be cut from under cabinets as they were built on the underlayment 2: add underlayment to the rest of the house to make one level at an additional cost or 3 use ramps (least expensive) . Mrs. ***** chose to go the ramps as we were at the top of her budget . When she called Mr. ***** back , she did not like the ramps and how they felt under foot (there where some flooring lifting as it was not fully acclimated) Mr. ***** explained that that would eventually go down , but if there where further problems to please contact the office . Park Place had never heard back from Mrs. Baran. In June Mr. ***** received a call on his personal cell phone from a Mr. **** (contractor) , whom talked to Mr. ***** about a unhappy customer , and stated that Park Place should never have used ramps (this is not true as we have ramped material in several doorways ) and started to tell Mr ***** how the intire job needed to be replaced . Mr. ***** tried on several acaisons to meet Mr. **** (contractor) with no avail . Mr **** would call Mr. ***** every couple of weeks but could never make a time to meet. Finally Mr **** called and got ahold of Mr Lara . Mr Lara explained he needed to come look asap, and forced Mr. Mat to meet him at home owners house. Mr Lara explained to contractor that the ramps where perfectly ok, however there where some issues with the locking system of the material (it is important to say, Mrs. Barans went with this floor as her father was moving in with her and was in a wheel chair) Park Place can not Warrantee material from wheel chairs and or heavy rolling loads , however Mr Lara ordered a carton of material to do repairs. When Installers went to Mrs. Baran's house they determined we would need more materiial . Mr ***** , whom just got back from vacation, ordered enough material to replace living room and repair other problem areas. Installers also stated that Mrs Barans did not like ramps and offered to pay to remove underlayment (but only if all the flooring would need to be replaced) . Mr ***** then called Mrs ***** and explaind we will only need to replace the living room , and we cannot replace all material as it is not needed . At this time, we are waiting on material for living room and will do all repairs (except tear out underlayment or add underlayment as was not part of original invoice, as was agreed on by Mrs. ***** to do ramps to save money ) .
