This solar farm company is a complete scam. They offered a 10% discount off my electric bill when I signied on. One and a half years later, there have been no credits to my account (they actually applied credits 5 times, then revoked them all) and customer service has been giving me the runaround every time I call. The dashboard for my account does not provide any information; in fact, none of the tabs to check usage, credits, etc work. They are blaming the lack of credits on the local utility, which is false. I tried to remove my auto credit card payment method, but their website doesn't allow you to remove a payment method without entering a new method of ********** recommendation: if you are on auto pay with Arcadia, call your credit card company immediately and block payment to this vendor.

I began using Arcadia in July of last year. Up until this point, it met my expectations. I saved a few pennies on each ConEd bill, as advertised, for using Arcadia's solar energy in my region. However, I just received my most recent Arcadia statement to the tune of $765.21. My ConEd bill for this billing period is only $109.98. So where is this additional cost coming from?According to my email with an Arcadia customer support agent, It is essentially your repayment for the solar credits that reduced your ConEd bill. I am being asked to repay, in excess, for the savings that I was promised. Therefore there are no savings.Arcadia is practicing false advertising, and is a bait and switch operation. It is unfortunately taking advantage of consumers across the country. The positive reviews here on Trust Pilot are no doubt from customers that have not yet received their surprise bill for "solar credits".Essentially, you will pay a large fee to fund Community Solar. You have no way of knowing what that fee will be or when it will be charged. In return, you will receive small discounts on your energy bill, but the surprise fee will completely override any savings that you saw on your bill.I recommend that if you have not yet been hit with this bill, cancel your account immediately before you are taken advantage of by this company.

Please Be Aware! These people are scammers. They are a third party meaning your electric bill will go to Arcadia. They will triple charge your credit card. Even seen someone get charge $10,000 by mistake

Do not use their service. YOU MAY BE DOUBLE BILLED and Arcadia will do nothing. Canceling can take 90 days. Huge flaw in how this works, my electric utility Coned uses estimates instead of doing actual meter readings each month. Coned added a credit to my account because they overbilled me. Arcadia will still charge your credit card, even though Coned does not require any payment due to the positive credit balance. I brought this to Arcadias attention, to which they responded that we are required to allocate 95% of the Community Solar charges back to the Solar developers for maintenance purposes. I still have a substantial credit with Coned after the adjustment, so I asked Arcadia to cancel my account with them, to which they responded that the process takes 90 days because it takes time to communicate with the solar farm that I no longer wish to be connected to that spot. I told them that is absolutely unacceptable and that I do not authorize them to charge my credit card anymore. Havent heard back since so I notified my credit card and they stopped/reissued my card, also I disputed the charge with the credit card. One additional point, I initially signed up with a $75 sign up bonus which I never received.
