Snyder construction may do good work but their owner is unethical. Today my husband was fired from their business after his truck broke down after hauling heavy cabinets for the company. Did he skip work? ****. He made it to work everyday and next week he said he'd make it tow work too. Instead of being understanding about the truck which may have been damaged due to neglect on the companies part, they fired him. Told him once his truck was fixed he could inquire about returning to work. Let's not forget that he quit his current job to work for Snyder construction. **** Snyder made it sound like a wonderful company to work for with guarantee there would be work for a long time. My husband was very clear about the need to have steady work. I am the first to believe that employees whom are late to work or do bad work or continually call in should be let go, but there was no warning, no conversations, and no probation period. **** Snyder himself couldn't even fire his own employees. He had his project manager ***** fire them. Colorado law also states that when you are fired your pay is due to you immediately or within 6 hours of the next business day. No payment was given onsite. Keep you updated if they pay or not within 6 hours of Monday.
