I placed an order online for delivery. Not 5 minutes later I realized that the order would arrive too late as we wouldn't be there anymore. I tried to contact Slice 3 different times to cancel the order. By the time anyone got through the person who they talked to said they wouldn't cancel the order because the pizza already had been made, which I found was a lie because I tracked my order and the status said it was still in process. I attempted to call *******'s myself and they told me the same thing that ***** told me, so I explained the situation and he still refused. I asked to speak to a manager and the guy said he was the manager, so I asked to speak to who was above him and he said they weren't there. So I asked for that person's contact, which he then told me he didn't have that, which is clearly a lie. You're a manager and don't have your superiors contact? Yeah ok. I decided to wait for the pizza and waited outside. I had specifically mentioned in the notes that they needed to call me because there was no way to get in and I selected hand it to me. No one showed up. And no one called. I then called Slice again, explained the whole situation and she put me on hold and called *******'s to get them to refund the order. They lied to her, told her they completed the order and that they delivered it. Which again, they didn't. I told her about the note and told her I have call logs and witnesses to prove it as I had 3 people stay back and wait with me. She attempted to call them again, which at that point they refused to answer for her.

    Business Response

Your client placed an order through a third-party company who then placed an order at our business. Your client at some point realized she had made other plans and needed to cancel her order. Once she realized she needed to cancel she could not get through to the third party she had placed her food through...Meanwhile we are making her food/order as soon as we receive the order. She was eventually able to reach the third-party company and explain the mistake she had made. At this point she had been calling us directly, calling the staff liars and was demanding we pay for her mistake... Since receiving a threatening letter through the BBB we have made contact with your client giving her free food. We explained to her that she can call the store directly and communicate with a person instead of an app and avoid this kind of thing in the future plus the fees the third-party company charged her...She excepted the free food and said she would retract her complaint.

After receiving a second threatening letting from the BBB, guess this hasn't happened.
