On Dec 21, 2024, my wife overpaid on our car payment. She called the bank to get it corrected. They fixed it and issued a credit to correct the amount. She originally paid 936. IBC Bank or visa one credited $626 to correct the amount.
They were supposed to update our address at this time, as well, since we just moved.

On Feb, 3 2025, the bank pulled the whole $936 out again, not just the 626 credit. Putting our account $928 in the negative. My wife called the bank and they told her the investigation papers were sent, but they got no reply. Come to find out that the address was never updated.
She has been on the phone getting transferred to different departments just getting the run around. They asked for a receipt from GM Financial to confirm that they actually received the difference, and the amount my wife was trying to pay. ($310). They said it would take 15 days for it to be fixed. She faxed everything they needed on Feb 11, 2025.

Today is March 3, 2025. She is back on the phone again today. Address was still not updated. She got hung up on by Visa Fraud department. She called back to IBC bank to try and figure this out. We live paycheck to paycheck, we have a 1yo baby and my wife’s 16yo sister lives with us. This is our grocery money and bill money. This isn’t a game and we are done playing with their horrible customer service. I have uploaded the statement from GM Financial show that the $310 was paid on Dec 21, 2024

    Thank you.

Fraud charges were reported at the beginning of February and we were told that the investigation could take up to 30 days. We are going on 3 months without any resolution and every time we call the disputes department nobody is able to get us any kind of update other than that its still being reviewed. During this time we are accruing additional interest charges and late fees on charges that were fraudulent. The card had a $0 balance prior to these charges so we are getting penalized with late fees and interest charges. I keep getting told to just keep an eye on the account and continue to call back weekly to get status updates. The process of getting to talk to someone has taken me up to over an hour of being on hold to just get no updates and told the same thing from week to week. I just want to get our credit back to our account so i can close the card all together. We have had multiple issues with this credit card account through our credit union.
