On January 2, 2024, ****** from Brightstar Appliances (AKA Appliance Doctors) phone number ************ came out to fix our ** stove. The 2 front burners were not working properly (they would turn on and off. He came out, pulled the stove out, looked at the back, and said he knew what was wrong and he had the part at their warehouse, he needed to go pick it up. He called my husband and told him he was waiting on confirmation that the part he had would work on our stove. We received a call from ******, saying ** confirmed it would work and he was coming back to our house. When he arrived I asked if he was sure that was the problem since he didn't do any diagnosics. He said yes. He replaced the part and said he was emailing us the receipt, and that we had a one-year warranty on it. We never received the receipt. When I went to use the large burner it did not work. I called ****** a few times, leaving voicemails. He finally answered when I called from a different number. He came back out on January 23rd and spent time on the stove. He confirmed that it was the part he put in and needed to order a new one because this one seemed to be defective. I said are you sure that the one you put in that you called to make sure it would work isn't the problem. A couple of weeks passed and I called to follow up. He said he was waiting on the part. I called a couple of weeks later and he said he was still waiting, and that with all the supply chain issues, it could be a while. I said that I had a hard time believing that, and he was more than welcome to come and get the part, and refund me my money. On March 7, 2024, he said I could expect the check next week. We never received the check. We have called April 11th, 15th, 26th, May 1st, 6th, 10th, and 15th. ****** told us his company name was Brightstar Appliances. That is who the check was written to. Obviously, since he has an F rating with the BBB under Appliance Doctors.

Appliance Doctor came out under our home warranty on 04/11/2022, and ordered a part for our cooktop. When the part came in, they came out only to find it was the wrong one. They then said they would order the correct one, that was in June of 2022. They never ordered the correct one as far as I can tell and are now lying to American Home Shield, by saying that they fixed the issue. It has never been fixed. They also will not answer the phone.
